As a die hard Pentaholic, I totally dig your honesty! That’s why I’m subscribed to your channel! It’s legit. PTX covers such a diverse range of music genres and I get it, not all are for everybody. You still gave props which was cool! You did bounce a little though...lol I know. It’s hard not to sometimes whether you’re down with it or not. 😆 This one was very “bouncy”, and I can see how it’s totally not your style. (The original is really strange, so I was surprised that PTX even covered it, but trust me, they made it sound so much better.) Regardless, I still enjoyed watching this with ya!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I'm always gonna be honest with my opinions about things... and at the same time, gonna give credit where it's due. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean that it's bad, not by any means. Some of the stuff I like probably sounds like shit to some people lmao it is what it is though... Variety is the spice of life, and how boring would the world be if everyone liked the same things. I love finding new songs though, and everything is worth listening to at least once, because you just never know when you might find a gem that you wouldn't have if you hadn't given something a chance. I appreciate your honesty. Not every song they do is something I would normally listen to. That said, most of their covers were original to me because I hate pop music. Like you said...nothing takes away from their technical perfection.

I agree with you. It’s definitely not one of my favorite covers but I do appreciate the musicality and the fact that they aren’t always covering really popular songs for the views ya know? It is a bopper for sure and I love the colors

Based on the ending, you might like their cover of Aha!, which is also a great example of what they can do live if you listen to the live version in Singapure, Star Vista. They almost burned the house down with this song :D.

Right on, I will add those to the list. I have fallen really far behind on my list in taking advantage of the nice weather to go sight my bow in and getting everything ready for this year's spring turkey season. But, I promise you I do fully intend on getting caught up. There will be a few new videos going up before the hunting season starts, but the channel will likely be really slow until sometime in May.

ROFLMAO Don't go and do that! I had some things I was dealing with, I tried to get some videos up but the motivation and the energy just wasn't there for me and they got scrapped before I could even get into the name of the song. But, I'm back now and shits good again. I'm working on the third upload of the day now, and while I'm in the right place I'm gonna go ahead and make some other videos to leave on standby again because I done already burned through all the ones I had made before lmao

You know I feel much the same way you do about pop music. But, again I say it landed on my playlist for the sheer talent behind every beat. There's a lot going on in this arrangement...it's very busy, but they are effortless in the execution of every arrangement they do. The nuances just flow together. I don't know what your exposure is to music education, but take the opportunity to listen multiple times and see what you can pick out. Everything they've done, minus the "Evolution of..." videos, is on iTunes and Spotify. Speaking if Evolution vids, you should do Evolution of Michael Jackson next.

I never watch/listen to Pentatonix because I like the song. I watch for their performance if someone put "Mary had a little lamb" to music I would skip there's but listen to Pentatonix if they covered it. :) :)

Have to agree I didn’t like this song much... love pentatonix they are incredible.. just a lot of their source material is not my thing.... but I love what they do even when I don’t like the content.
