The sound design is almost TOO good. Watching this out of the house has me looking over my shoulder and swatting at imaginary flies

Wear headphones when you watch this video / play this game. Holy crap it makes such a disturbingly good difference when the voices speak. It's so unsettling but so good!
@rebelheathen77475 ай бұрын
I don't find it to disturbing, snice I deal with something similar on a daily, actually its kinda comforting in a way😅

But it is really good, the developers did a good job making you feel like the character

4:57:12 Agreed, Senua & Thórgestr would be a great power couple lol. The ending was left vague enuff that I choose to believe he somehow survived a sword thru his back & could return.

17:12 34:13 I like when action-adventures games (i.e. this, God of War, Resident Evil, etc) mark the enivornment to show what is interactable/ climbable. It seems especially useful in this since there's no UI 49:50.

I like the fact, that the actress Melina Juergens (GER) was originaly just doing some testfootage and was hired straight after her performance... I think she was working in PR at first

This was an amazing game to watch you play. I never seen the first game. I found you on TikTok and watched old videos on KZbin then went to Twitch. I saw when you started playing it on twitch but realized I had to really pay attention so I watched this here and I’m so glad I did. This was a movie and damn make me want to play the first one even though I don’t play games I just enjoy watching you and your banter. But again an amazing game. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I wish I was watching this when it came out especially since Kruz gets what the game means and I appreciate it to the fullest. I have dealt with Schizophrenia all my life and have been quite functional but when it happens, it is sometimes like this. This is more for the paranoid schizophrenic's since I mostly experience auditory and sometimes see shadows of afterimages but what the disease inside is like every one of your senses has a memory and is inflected with a shock or a nerve that just shows or smells or even sounds like something but doesn't exist. I can still feel reality like when I touch a table and feel the firmness of it but if I am hallucinating, It feels different yet the same, interweaving sensations that even your own brain actively does on its own which makes the human mind ten times more complex and interesting. I could hear something but know now those sounds do not exist while dealing with real sounds like a cat purring even though I also hear glass breaking (something from a far off memory that is forced out of me) and having certain things on repeat and so on. What makes schizophrenia unique is that you hear voices from your internal monologue come to life, every single thought and feeling produces another you with a voice and you could name them or not but it feels like dealing with multiple sounds all at once while trying to find my personal self and live normally with the sensations and sounds that are not of mind or daily feelings. Your mind can only hold so many thoughts in one sitting which is why it has a filter to it, to lessen that feeling but what happens when that filter is removed? Sub conscious and conscious thoughts started to melt together and what is once real might need to be questioned. Memories are not just a thought but almost in your face like PTSD survivors where it is a repeat of a moment that shocks you into trauma. It is very complicated and what this game and the last one did was help me to separate those interpretations of myself compared to what is projected mentally and see myself clearly. It is hard to concentrate sometimes and my senses sometimes stop or something I know isn't real is consistently on repeat haunting me with things that make no sense or a memory long gone yet feels so in the moment real and it hurts sometimes. My body gets super stressed out and I lose countless days of sleep and when I eat, sometimes my senses betray me like making food taste like something awful when it is the best food and I know it was cooked right but my brain is like "Nah, eat poop" and now I cannot eat for a few days cause my senses make all the food smell bad or something else that happens. It is miserable to deal with, I am much stronger now yet these games really are how Senua is seeing the world and hearing the world which is what I sometimes experience daily. The sounds are so good that it actually wakes up the other side of me and it just focuses in. Something about distracting ones mind kinda helps to relieve the tension which is why I work in service to talk with customers and feel it all out. I love Senua as a character and it is a lot to process. It is worth playing the game to experience this. Some days are not all bad. I hallucinated colors flying like butterflies at one point and being an artist, it felt really, really nice and seeing it made me inspired to draw a few better and write better things. I got poetry on IG: johnriverheartwolfpoetry31 which is just an archive at the moment. Got life stuff to do but that is all, glad people like it

I’d say maybe because I don’t have headphones on but it sounds like regular thoughts I’d have to myself in one voice but it’s coming from different voices with schizophrenia. Like ADD/ADHD amount of random thoughts but not from your own mental voice… where do the the other voices sound in her head come from?did she use the voice of someone she heard as a child and that became a second/third voice
