A few years ago, I got banned from Hypixel for over a year for using mods. I was very confused because I have never used mods on any server ever. I just got on one day and found that I was randomly banned for a year. I tried appealing it, but to no avail. The ban was upheld. When I was finally unbanned, I got on the server to find that I had a ton of friends whos usernames I did not recognize. My best guess is that someone managed to get my Mojang email and password, somehow. But this didn't affect me on any other server, or in any other aspect. My password was never changed. Nobody tried changing my account email. So it's possible someone stole my account just so they could cheat on Hypixel without risking their own account. It was so weird.

This! I just got unbanned in january after someone hacked my account, (one time i logged in and my hypixel was in mandarin), my minecraft account was actually archived/inaccessible, at one point. Like not even just a changed password my whole account wasn't available. Kept saying the email had no account. Mojang thankfully gave me my account back but boy was that a panic attack and a half.

I've actually had a really similar experience to the tara web stash incident, though it wasn't because of a bug. I was trying to flip vast quantities of rev flesh, but messed up the sell orders. Eventually they expired, so the only way to clear them was to cancel them, resulting in hundreds of thousands of rev flesh being sent to my stash. I think its was between 500k and 600k flesh in total, and took me an annoyingly long time to instasell to the bazaar. I also single-handedly brought the price of rev flesh down from about 40 coins to 20. Didn't use a macro though, but I can't imagine having to do what I did for 20 times as long.

Hypixel's anticheat is powerful on amateur, one-time cheaters. Any macro you coded yourself is instantly detected. And the black and white nature will give you a full ban (length mostly depends on how many times in the past you got a ban) no matter what. Inappropriate stuff gets you a shorter ban. But when admins decide to also wipe your profile, that's actually a bit more unclear.

All I got to say is Hypixel sever is one big joke I got perma-banned by their "watch Dog" anti_cheat when I hadn't even played on their servers for years, just to load up one day to find myself banned. Come to find out, this happened to other people because Watch Dog was banning people for no reason when it first came out and the admins did not want to do their job, leaving people banned because of it. Even if we appeal, they say we were cheating, but when asked for proof they couldn't give it, so it's best to avoid this server and find a better one. It looks like they don't care to ban people for no reason.

I got banned on my birthday when I had my old pc 2 pc's ago. Me and my friends were playing Skywars at the time, mind you this was the time before bed wars and stuff, and I was breaking the glass block below my feet, and when the game started I was stuck in the air. Got banned for hacking, tried to appeal it saying i was stuck in a ghost block but they replied saying they had evidence of me hacking. Yes if I was fly hacking why the fuck would I stay still on my island instead of just flying to other peoples islands and killing them. breh i used to intentionally stocked up revenant flesh up to 25 millions of em in my stash. it takes a while to unstash but if you ultilize the neu inventory button you can click 1 click to pick upstash and click 1 more click to sell all inventory to bazaar and the button that sell all to bazaar keeps working if you have the same items so you dont even have to refresh the bazaar. use your brain, dont macro

It was a long time ago now, but I played on a server with my brother's friends and I got banned for digging a 3x6 tunnel near bedrock level because it ruined the aesthetic or something stupid like that. I was actually using the stone to build a tower, so it wasn't even as though it didn't have a purpose. For context, this was before stone bricks were a thing, so looooooong ago now, lol

Funny story- This was not on Hypixel,but it was another popular one- There was a bug that I guess basically had 2 of me and I got flagged for it. So after that it happened again and I got banned-

Once I got banned for no reason I know of. The reason for the ban was "Abusing an unfair game advantage" or something like that. What advantage I had, I have no idea, nor do I know what game I got the ban from.

Hypixel needs to get a better support system not gonna lie. I play skyblock daily and live in eternal fear that I might get unlucky one day and get falsely banned or wiped, and lose everything I've worked for and care about. Every time I see a ridiculous ban story I feel terrible for the player (assuming that it was the fault of Hypixel and not them)

I used to break herobrine's mansion when adventure lobby was still open, I could get spawn eggs and just spam them on randoms in the game.

I once got banned for for no reason, I hadn't played for more than 1 year and yet, I got banned for "recent cheating". The thing is, my last login in the server corresponded to the last time I played, I use no mods except OptiFine and my launcher is still the official one. They accused me of having no multiple step verification for my Minecraft account, which wasn't true because I enabled all steps and you have to confirm your identity with information I haven't shared with anyone. It appears that there was a security breach from Hypixel and they banned players, accusing them from cheating. Most of my account belongings got whipped even after I was proven inncocent. I got banned from the Hypixel forums, which makes no sense, and I was warned that the next ban, whatever the reason, will be a permanent ban with no appeal possible. After that I stopped playing Hypixel because that is just ridiculous.

If I got stuck with 10 million things in my stash, I would try to contact and admin to fix it for me, and if they refuse I would delete my character and then decide to start on a new server or just start over again on that one.
