I just love taking mechanical things apart to understand how they function! Wish I'd had a video like this a couple decades ago when I tried to clean my S&W .45. I made an oily mess of it! I haven't owned a gun since. Peace and love.

That trigger bar might be the most complicated thing to machine in this gun. It is pressed down from a sheet of metal, shaped and then you need to machine it into spec. You put it manually into a device and it is truly a work of art to machine it into tolerance.

6:20 hah! I'm here because that exact pin looks rusted on hellcat pro, but I see orange around the pin too so still a bit worried myself. Gonna do a deeper clean, so this is helpful.

So this is far more complicated than the Glock. Polishing bits and taking small things apart make me uneasy. This video is great.

Very interesting. I would have parts left over LOL Your abilities to take anything apart and reassemble it are amazing shawn Doesn't seem to matter what it is you just have that mechanical mind like Andrew Camarata on his channel. Great video thanks

Guess I'm first. First morning back in illinois after the winter in Florida and my body is still on eastern time. Interesting vlog. I've never taken a firearm that far apart but I'm inspired now. May you and yours have blessed and happy Easter.

Nice job Shawn, now I need to clean and lube my Security-9 and PCC. Have yet to make it to the range for function testing. Then comes formal sight in of course. You and Momma have a great Easter Sunday. He is Risen! God bless, Rob

Talk about cleaning and diving into a pistol. I have a sig and ruger. 9 & 22 respectively. I do clean after using but never to this extent . I wouldn’t dare to. I know when to stop. I use a spray, oil cleaner, soak all and lightly blow away, wipe down and lightly oil. You do it the right way. Perfect. The parts I do disassemble I clean meticulously. Nice video. Thank you about the jacket info. No going after rabbits today, it’s Easter. Have a happy

I get that flipping up the take down lever pushes out the magazine blocking lever. But I’m confused what pulls it back in? I’ve seen some videos where the takedown lever is flipped down, but mag blocking lever stays out which seems like a big issue to me. Thanks!

How do you remove the tab safety that sits in the center of the trigger?
@waznyf4 ай бұрын
What exactly did you do to clean the individual parts? Forgive me if I missed that detail. What products did you use? I couldn’t tell what the blue product was. Is standard gun oil sufficient for the interior parts or is white lithium grease necessary? Thank you so much for the in depth video! I was looking all over for this type of instruction. Most videos just show a simple field strip.

My Disconnector pin is in the way of the sear housing pin???? Only way the sear housing pin goes in if I take out the disconnector pin, which doesn’t make any sense

I’m at like 3k+ rounds two years of being on my side hundreds of fishing trips and I’m barley here (simple barrel and slide cleaning only)😂 so I’m guessing whenever your ready to take it apart
