Better to kill the fuel pump…this resets factory memory for stuff like the radio…also creates a problem when the remote dies. Kill your fuel pump and starter. Also get blockers for the obd2

You can easily pull the trunk lining, get to the power and ground wires of the fuel pump and wire a switch. You can do this after the relay so it will still sense the ignition and starter. As for the starter, you can add another switch at the back of the PTS button. Rerouted your OBD2 with an extension and hide it somewhere. Put a dummy OBD2. Take all the signal wires and ground them to the chassis and take the ground and fuse a 12v there. You can tap the constant cig circuit seeing how our batteries are in the trunk and it’s a long wire run. So anyone trying to hook up their scan tool, it will fry it and short it out. I have the compustar system with dronemobile and I can remotely turn my fuel pump on and off with a relay. Also if you don’t want to wire a relay for the PTS button, JDI makes a RFID system which you need a key FOB to activate the PTS. But Compustar can take care of all that. I added the JDI for a second system redundancy.

That’s why you don’t connect to the battery you guys are doing it wrong. You connected somewhere else but not the battery. That way if it does turn off while you’re driving, it doesn’t affect anything. The car keeps running.

You bought a cheap one. I use a remote disconnect switch on one of my driving toys, and it's still going strong, but I bought a quality one. Never cheap-out on critical running parts.

@@PhilFleetwood When you guys cut the power to your car, the ECM computer has to re-map the idle when you power it back on. When it does that, it runs rich, sending lots of fuel down the exhaust, making the cat glow red hot and fail. - Stop cutting the power to the car, install the cut switch so it disconnects the "S" wire on the starter.(not the big wire). If the starter can't get power to turn over, the car ain't going nowhere.

no sir, so it will not drain the battery. It actually does the opposite. It will turn off the battery if it drops under 11.8 V. Which I actually love because it almost guarantees a start so leave a light on or something using power. It will turn off, kinda like a safety switch as well. good question bro
