Hey man just curious what kind of problems you would usually run into that high in HP, I’m sure you’re aware of the G’s notorious behavior for burning oil, I’m currently struggling with that and it’s making me lose interest in wanting to even build a Vq35de, I was just wondering if you have any tips for that, if it’s more of a compression problem or straight up a factory defect, like piston rings for example.

Believe it or not it actually has more to do with the stick tune, if you get a low mileage vq and get it tuned by a good tuner they generally stop burning oil. But if it's high millage it might be too late. At high hp the only real concern is head lift

I own 2 g coupes my o4 does not burn oil like that at all had it for 7 years change it change your spark plugs keep things running clean and you’ll have no issues high mileage or not the uprev same deal keep things fresh and you should not have an issue I always top it off 2-3 times a month and that’s when I’m like driving everyday going crazy acting a fool what’s the throttle love these cars so go for it before you can’t find one.

Yea im still playing with the diff options initially had 3.3 now it's the 3.54 also have a 3.69 I may try, nismo is 3.9 which I think might make the gears a bit too short. But then again this is low boost

@Nitish21 oh he uses that nismo "gt" one I thought it might be different one. But yeah maybe invest in a sequential transmission at this point in power as well. Or if you want to keep the H pattern go dogbox. But those starting at 10k I think. Very expensive.
