Not really necessary given how it affects people who have to play solo because of internet limitations or who they usually get matched with. Though this change that requires players to have a PSN account is absolutely unacceptable, and even crazier is how people online are saying that gamers are just a bunch of snowflakes for complaining about a completely needless change that actively harms the game. Not to mention Sony apparently has a history of data breeches so who would want to give them any data, and a lot of countries cannot even create a PSN account, but no, gamers are just a bunch of snowflakes. I hate non-gamers some days.

i wouldn't be surprised if devs watched these stealth gameplay videos and if we're they thought there weren't enough enemies. my theory was the blob of events in the center was causing less enemies to spawn but the devs didn't catch on to the symptom. I feel like it doesn't affect stealth playstyles like this at all but makes it less enjoyable for solo/duo who like you stand there ground. the math checks out that its worse now for solo if they choose to engage with enemies. there used to be an end in sight but now that takes much longer to clear out after wave and wave of enemies. my heart goes out to people who aren't enjoying it anymore and are getting told to get gud. there's no excuse for that kind of gatekeeping especially when most weren't going past diff 5 solo in the first place prepatch. helldive doesn't seem too different probably cause spawn cap is reached at the same rate.

Have really enjoyed watching these videos recently. You and eravin are continuing to do a great job teaching me how to dominate bots. I find it interesting that you often don't take a support weapon. I guess you feel that the scorcher is good enough that you don't really need to swap to another weapon or maybe the jump pack and shield relay are just too important to you. Keep up the amazing content! :)

Oh yeah, scorcher is basically the Jack of all trades. On top of that, you can find support weapons at POIs, so looting them early on is definitely beneficial if you choose not to take the support weapon at the start.

The problem is being able to practice. 4:42 The amount of enemies on Helldive is crazy to me. Also I love jumping in right after you see it fire its rockets into the wall. 6:37 Baiting the artillery with the shield projector. Love it. I love your videos. They're a great learning experience for me. 8:12 I didn't think the shield generator relay's cooldown time would be so low, but apparently it really is just 90 seconds. That's insane to me and I love that. Nice. 23:40 Wonder if someday the bots will steal the faster turn speed upgrade on turrets from Super Earth. Love it. 29:09 This is going well, but this feels like it'll go- oh damn. Oh DAMN. That was a clean getaway. I don't even know whether to call that luck or not. 29:50 And you left the shield generator for solid cover because the Hulk's death was gonna blow it up. Gonna note that down too. 31:40 Using the pelican to clear the extraction zone. I should do that. 33:54 That's another idea I didn't know of. Using an eagle airstrike at the same place as an orbital barrage beacon to hit the center of the barrage. 35:50 And right at the end, still uncertain if you'd make it out with 0 deaths, an explosion hit you towards where you needed to go. Wrote this comment over the course of 5 days. Love this video.

With the 380mm barrage against bunkers, it looked like you threw them kind of on the edges of the base rather than right on top of the bunker. Do you recommend doing it this way, or is that just how it happened? I don't really know how targeting works for that thing.

Have you tried out the newly buffed DCS? It’s incredible for stealth, but it does unfortunately lose the scorcher’s gunship and scout strider kill potential, so you’d have to take a support weapon to deal with them. Or get lucky and find a laser cannon on the ground idk.

It went just above the theshold for one-shot headshot against Devastators, right? That's a pretty big deal. I've been playing against the bugs since the patch just frolicking among the swarm with the Blitzer without a care in the world, blasting away anything that gets too close. I might as well unbind right click with this playstyle. Blizer definitely getting nerfed back in the next balance patch.

@@MrRolnicek well, technically it didn’t just go above the threshold, because it was already there. The DCS was able to one tap devastators pre nerf, but only at ranges closer than 20m, at which point the damage falloff dropped it back under the threshold. The buff acted effectively like a range increase, extending this one shot range to 125m. Effectively, you’re correct, but I think the details are worth sweating here.

Another wonderful solo play. Didn't think you can use shield generator as a decoy to draw their fire as you snuck away. Still, I kinda enjoy how the stealth player can adapt. Dev probably needs to rethink more circumstances for those who likes to play solo. Internet is the main issue at the moment. Also, Sony's policy is making UNSC eager to join the alliance with Helldivers to send Spartans and ODSTs.

Well... Players know the history of Sony's breach. I'm sure at this point, the automatons have the upper hand on Sony since they succeded in disabling new recruits from PC to join. Recently Steam stops the sale until Sony can revoke its policy.

@@lourie054 it's exactly that! I don't even own a console, why on super earth would i risk my data being stolen and get nothing in return? Yup, i've heard that. There's also a massive refund claim, according to rumours some people are getting their money back even after having over 2h in the game. It's probably the worst part about it. Once they get their money refunded they'll probably never come back to helldivers, even if the recent changes somehow get reverted.

You need to leave the area after it spawns but before it lands. So wait right on the edge until it arrives, then leave. It'll circle indefinitely
