I love how the auto climb in this game is ridiculously aggressive on result canisters but you can never climb up a two inch gap on other stratagem pods to claim your item.

Just make a habit of opening your map, avoid patrols, go prone and crawl by then. Use cover to take out manageable chunks of enemies not all of them at once. Sprint often. Dive when you're in trouble. You can do it. It's not as hard as you think with a couple tweaks to your gameplan.

I think they made solo play less fun with the changes to spawns. I understand there are players who are able devote hours a day to master all the mechanics and just think everyone should just get gud. But some of us don’t have that luxury and those changes to gameplay feel punitive. It wouldn’t matter if certain things didn’t have a level requirement but there are things you just don’t see on lower levels.

I love that there are other people who also use the jump pack to increase throw distance. I run a nice set of red grenade armor so I don’t have the increased throw. Jump pack has my back forever and always.

Nicely done as always. And if I'm not mistaken that's basically the loadout I was talking about in a previous comment section! Funny thing this is basically the OPPOSITE of how I use the Laser Cannon, I shoot everything with it except the Striders, those get the Scorcher. Can't argue with your methods though, I certainly wouldn't be able to get through a Helldive solo.

That looks like it will out perform the currently over-neutered Eruptor for a solid primary against bots for sure. Excellent gameplay. Love your use of hard cover and brutal marksmanship. Edit; If this game had a Garrote Wire for dealing with bots I believe you'd put it to good use the way you creep around their guards.

Very well done. How nice it is to think you start from different pods. That laser cannon seems efficient, it's like using Sentinel beam from Halo against everything. Can just ask you how often do you get full clears no deaths? Or do you do it every time, because I can see myself maybe getting a full clear with automaton but no way in he'll with terminids. Could you be able to with the swarm since they fight so much different? Maybe with a flamethrower and or sentrys plus stalwart

Terminids aren't really my thing, but against bots it's becoming pretty consistent, especially with my favorite offensive build(3 reds + jetpack). If you're looking for a Terminid build you should watch Takibo or OhDough, they're pretty good and entertaining. Oh and btw some mechanics like baiting out reinforcements work for both bots and bugs, so always use them to get an advantage.

Laser is good against gunships too. 2-3 sec for laser to burn gunship's engine. For Quesar Cannon's 15 cd and 1 gunship down, laser cannon can actually take 4 gunships for that amount of time. So it's BASED anti-air weapon right now.

I've been meaning to play around the snipers ever since the dmg buffs but still haven't gotten around to it. regular diligence still seems pretty bad. The medium armor pen and increased dmg is just so much better than what, extra recoil and less fire rate.

It affects how often enemies can call dropships. On helldive it's 2 minutes without it and 2,5 minutes if you have it equipped 😉

Usually mission are easy, need to approach correctly. Almost of time I do it alone eliminate only necessary, then complete mission when enemy are nearest. Also if enemy coming y should switch to another missione then come back , it should be calm. If enemy saw y, y should fight it within delimited area to not caught attention from others.

I've done it by jetpacking to high mountains on daytime maps w no fog. Engage stationary mobs at 200+ meters, smoke bomb and move away, repeat. Was kinda boring. Bug nests requiring the nade launcher to blaze through its hard to simply hit and run. Chargers and hunters are great at catching up

I've been using the Diligence CS against the bots and it just rips through them. People call in an airstrike for 8 bots and I'll kill them all before the strike lands lol

Were the DMR's changed recently because I recall that there was a poll put by the devs on the DMRs and the clear response was that they needed work. However, it didn't seem like there was any glaringly bad problems for you. Part of me feels like it is just CoD players not understanding how a sniper rifle and/or DMR works.

Yes, they buffed them in 1 or 2 major patches ago. In regards to the DMR's, the biggest issue was mostly attributed to the Counter Sniper variant. The extremely poor weapons handling made it a chore to use, and the low damage didn't bring anything to the table that the Diligence and other weapons couldn't do better and more reliably. 16 points of extra damage wasn't enough to justify the reduction in both magazine capacity, and sluggish aiming that the Counter Sniper had. As far as I'm aware, no one really complained about the diligence, outside that it might need a very small damage buff (which it did receive) With the recent change, the weapon has carved itself a much greater niche and is much more attractive than it was before.

DCS basically got buffed in all the key areas, improved handling, fixed scope, medium pen and slight dmg increase. It is now as it should be.

If anything it was closer to the opposite pre buff dmr's felt more like battle rifles with bad optics on them, the adjudicator being basically the antithesis to the point it got moved into regular assault rifle category during the buffs. They're in a good state now at least.

Always has been. It fills the exact same niche as the AMR (another S tier weapon), i.e killing heavy/medium bot threats (Striders/devastators/hulks/turrets/gunships) quickly by hitting their weak spot. I prefer the AMR because it's better at killing striders who cause me a lot of grief, but if you're having issues with gunships the LC is by far the best weapon against them. Also the Cannon is not bound by ammo restrictions while the AMR is a very ammo-hungry weapon. It's not an issue since I mostly play solo, but you can't call resupply every two minutes just for you while playing squads of course.

The diligence is mid as fuck. It takes 2 shots to kill devastators in their weak points and over all is just a down grade from an already nerfed eruptor. DMR's need more stagger damage to actually be relevant at level 9. I like how they nerfed the slugger cause it was better than most DMR's yet instead of making the DMR's more like the slugger they just give them a small % boost.
