More on those reloads though. If you press and hold reload, your character will actively take out and look into the mag. If you do this again without firing a bullet they will not check again as if by signifying that they already previously checked and know how much they should have.

It was a bug, not a cheater. The game thinks you used your stratagem when in reality you didn’t, it repeats this until you die thus giving infinite stratagems. You can search it up if you wanna learn more
