Thats what i dont understand about them goofballs who kick people. Most the time the low levels last longer than them higher rank goof balls. Im level 98 and play mostly impossible. The divers that are 80 and up die way more than low levels. And then leave after they use up all the lives.

Level doesn't mean anything. We dragged with a friend 2 newbies to helldive just for the lol's, bumped their unlocked difficy. They performed really well. Nothing stops you from dropping an additional quasar and/or a shield for them. Simply don't be a prick

Uh? I was playing lvl 7 since lvl 12 And it was me and a friend playing, just the 2 of us. I remember getting the shield at lvl 20 and then jumping into a lvl 9 to try it out cuz it was INSANE and people scared me into not doing it until lvl 20... And they were right (they nerfed it HARD. They would spawn 3 chargers and 3 bile Titans everytime, there would always be 3 at any given moment of the mission. And they would spawn by popping into existence, not from breaches or patrols). Back then if I was a lvl 50, I would have kicked myself as a lvl20 just for being lvl 20. Shit was no joke. Kicking was 100% warranted. Still is now. And then you also have tons of people getting carried to high levels and these people SUCK. Like I carried 3 lvl 5s into lvl 6 difficulty missions cuz i was farming a personal order and decided to let them have some fun with random stuff they didn't have, like the mech, autocannon, HMG, shield etc... but they sucked so hard that they couldn't used them effectively and went back to the machine gun except the last mission at lvl 5, where a guy took the autocannon and I used the buddy system reload to have him blast all the bugs. Those guys will be obliterated at lvl 6 if they dont have someone to carry them. Especially the one dude that kept throwing orbitals on top of us all the time, getting himself killed and the other guys like 7 times. 😂 He then killed the whole team when the ICBM launched and knocked him down while holding the orbital. So no, Id rather kick a low level cuz he ain't good, he got carried. And right now, getting to lvl 9 is pretty easy. I'd say as a lvl 15 you can now easily do lvl 9s, just get the 500kg and EATs and you will be fine. During launch the only gun effective at lvl 9 against chargers and Titans was the railgun, while Titans and chargers were on the map at any given moment, with breaches spawning the second you landed, with enemies popping into existence behind you (literally. The spawn system worked based on line of sight. So enemies would spawn out of nowhere behind hills and behind you in the open, if nobody was looking there)

Regular supply pack already gives 2 stims per use in addition to ammo and grenades. I think the medic pack is leftover from prior design ideas that were ultimately scrapped in favor of keeping the "give them everything" supply packs. If not, they better make the medic pack max out stims in the release version or else there is literally no reason to take it over the supply pack. Even if it maxed out stims it would still be garbage tier compared to the versatility of the supply pack.

Honestly low levels players are only a problem at high difficulty levels 8-9, against bots, or high difficulty missions like evac personnel. Even then I usually tolerate lower level players, and many of them have surprised me. There are also plenty of lower level stratagems that are some of the most effective in the game (Autocannon, EAT, shield relay, Eagle Strike, etc.) What is not cool though is low level players coming into max difficulty missions, with completely ineffective builds, and no game knowledge or teamwork oriented gameplay. You do not have to: 1: be high level 2: run META Or 3: be a cracked player To contribute to your team But if you’re don’t have any of those three things going for you, at that point you’re basically griefing your team on helldive. Whether it’s intentional or not, you’re being an irresponsible teammate at high difficulty if you’re not coming in with the things necessary to bring value to your team. You’re looking to get carried, and not even making an effort to give anything in return. And more than likely actively jeopardizing the entire lobbies 30-40 mins of effort, just because you’re being selfish. That’s just rude, and that’s all there is to it. I almost never kick people, but gatekeeping is not a “bad” thing in every circumstance guys.

I think that's ok to do only on 40+ minute missions where you already lost a bunch of time. But if it makes sense in the current situation to hunt down objectives, then that should be done.

Funny story: kicked my first griefer the other day, level 65 and I have never been intentionally killed by a random before but i mostly play with friends, we get towards the end of the game, low on revives, short on time, and i run to help the random but he accidentally shoots me in the back with his eruptor and kills himself, after i respawn him and run off to the next nest he follows me and while I’m dealing with the bugs he shoots me 4 times with the eruptor the first two i thought could be accidental as I had some bugs near me but after those depleted my shield the next one ragdolled me and he proceeded to shoot for the last time killing me, not quite sure what his plan was but I kicked him before he could kill our other random and we completed the mission 💀

Ive only had ps5 and HD2 for 2 weeks..i got 3 hours at end of my night to play anything.. I was a high skilled, and low level and kept getting booted from a couple of rooms. When i jumped into a room and started playing successfully, i noticed it was ran by the first dude who booted me..sonovabitch was 40 levels or more higher than me, but when mission ended and stat screen popped up..well, you could imagine the trash i was mic talking this dude til he left...and we were all booted out. The community in this game is great...but like highschool, sometimes a punk needs to be slapped down to see the error in their ways.

Im level 57 and have hundreds of hours in the game. If they do bad i try to teach them, with or without a mic. Plus many times i learned a new technique from low level players. Just take them in with you, if youre a good player youll make up for their inexperience, and tea h them something along the way

I played with people 40 and 30 in rank and they are absolute trash... a lvl 15 put in more work than they did then what gets really annoying is the higher ranks just run through the mission without trying to get samples... it's fun to play with random people from time to time but I normally just roll with a crew of people that I know

I don't know why people kick low lvl players it can be really fun to play with them. Yesterday Lvl 8 join me because i forget to set my game to "friends only" and i just couldn't kick him just like that so we played togheter. Long story short we played togheter for few hours, he even help me get the "orbital strike achievement", i showed him how to play against the bots and gave him my Shield generator backpack so he could be safe during the game and we both had a blast togheter.

when i started playing i was talked down too and yelled at for being level 8 in helldive. people that were lvl 40 saying they are tired of carrying undeserving low levels through hard missions. i was level 50 in a day and a half of playing. and i have played helldive constantly with starting loadouts even since i started. the "stronger" strategums are good but they all have downsides. you can take the precision strike you get at lvl 1 and it has less than half the cd than a 500k and does basicly the same things. then you got the machine gun which can do more work than a eagle against light and medium threats but also requires more skill. hell you can go in with just a primary gun and very high cd bomb drops if you want and generally will be fine. i have seen people rocking jet packs and servo armor and throwing strats across the map and doing helldive in a few mins.

I used to kick low levels before... Now I got everything unlocked except 2 of the level 4 ship upgrades that don't do anything now anyways... So I don't much care for what happens in the matches, I'm just there to have fun and maybe find new ways to do so... Anyways, I don't think kicking is a good practice, not at the current state. some jerks kick because they get bombed. So to avoid, gotta start your own game and go with it.

Imo level 15 is the lowest I'd tolerate for suicide+. At rank 15. You get access to wider variety of strats that can allow you to fit better with a team.

I'm lvl 68 with maxed out module upgrades. I have never even once done sample farming and don't know any cheeses or exploits for the evac mission. I really dislike them and think they're the epitome of bad game design on many levels (nobody likes playing them the intended way, and they strongly invite and encourage exploits). Please kick me, I probably just stumbled into your evac mission via quickplay and don't really want to be there anyway ;) The fact that you consider leaving a squad that are not exploiting an evac mission and is trying to do it the intended way really speaks for itself.

5:00 Disagree, they are most likely carried. Most of them can't do their role properly nor do their jobs or clear objectives in difficulty 9. Personally, I don't kick them, but I do get demoralized when they join the difficulty 9 games. Not to mention, they are likely to friendly fire, especially those with mortars or grenade launchers. About half of them still need tempering at lower difficulties.

I'm lvl 42 and i will always welcome new players, even if they they can't kill a hulk or sometimes miss an orbital. Sadly, an in game mission communication tab would be a nightmare. Reddit, and Twitter are already an absolute shit show. When even the slightest controversy is posted. It would need to be heavily moderated. But then would become heavily gated. Then would become a streamer/creator ego stroking elitist back stop. Just before it died a horrible death. As most players would simply ignore it in the long run. The answer to the Major orders is to remove the medal reward from them and add some other kind of reward. Like rare or super samples. Maybe even add cosmetics or capes or something. I'm spit balling. But the issue is Medals are no a large enough draw for higher level players. Secondly, the multi-front war is handicapping it this point. Some people like Bugs, others like Bots. and a few piddly medals isn't reward enough to go and play with a load out you don't really like in a style you do not prefer. I'm a bot guy. In my 60's. Almost 70. I came over for 1-2 missions for the bug stomp. Got credit. Then left and went back to bots. Hopefully they get a nice cadence with MO, offer better rewards. Week long MO with a cape or armor or coloring, or a title or something. Some sort of wall hanger that gets people excited for the war effort. Not just some medals which most people are capped on anyways.

I really don't think the medal reward is the issue. That's because we only have issues when defending multiple planets. So we lack coordination. Also not sure what communication tab are you thinking of. I'm saying the same as in discord, so users can't post, only the AH team.

I have an issue with a medical backpack. The normal supply backpack gives you ammo, grenades, and stims. Why would you use a backpack dedicated to just stims? Even if it refilled all of your stims instead of just two, you're missing out on all of the other supplies. Doesn't seem to be worth the cost to me.

Yeah, the illuminate are coming soon, and I think they’ll arrive along with the new warbond so one month, give or take. We are sort of at a point where the galactic war is going downhill. The current MO will make us lose some more territory and buy the devs some more time to polish the new stuff and fix the bugs, then once that’s done the TCS will malfunction and the hive lords will make a return. This will keep us entertained until the new warbond comes out and until the devs do the final preparations for the Illuminate. I also feel like the city maps are coming either once we reach Cyberstan or once the enemy factions get in closer proximity of super earth.

Regarding the correct extraction where Pelican is called and then left there to wait landed, it is risky because if Pelican received significant damage then it will close the door and leave once the first player enters and leave the other 3 behind... Of course that's a valid farming strategy if 1 players holds all the samples but the team will lose 1 star for Failed to extract. Am I wrong here? Does the Yoiutuber mean that the Pelican stays in the air around the extraction and not landed?

Yes if you leave once it's in the air it stays in the air. So it doesn't get damaged. But you lose out on the extra time.

The elitist diver mentality is inevitable, the casual divers will move on to the next thing and leave those who expect the others to know how to play to be left. If you're someone who steam rolls through maps expecting everyone to top tier 0 deaths 0 accidentals + 400 kills, you must be treating this game like a chore anyways. A low level player in a high level difficulty means that player was probably carried, not that they are skilled. Most players under level 40 cannot perform well on a suicide level mission or above. They tend to not even know how to reinforce while moving, and they constantly abandon missions that are still winnable by a single player. The developers need to allow hosts to set level requirements and stop wasting everyone’s time. I have no desire to kick people, but the average mission is way too long and too much of a grind to waste my time taking chances on inexperienced players who can’t hang on higher difficulties.

Honestly got kicked when I joined a lower level team, I guess the reason what I get them killed when throwing orbital laser and some eagle strike because they go close to the enemy and just want to shoot them all, another instance is when I called exxtraction early while all of them are doing sub quest.

This war needs leaders. Leaders who can be seen and communicate to all the forces. Something in game. There is really no communication for players who just play the game. Only reason I know whats going on in the war and lore wise, is because I read discord and watch videos. Many are not like that, and that's why we have more people on bugs imo. This game needs guilds/clan/whatever you want to call them. Be great to see where these forces are attacking. Maybe even see global messages from those guild leaders or something. Won't happen, just saying. Game mostly feels like SP +3 most the time.
