Oh, god, I know what you mean. My best online friend quit gaming to go into modding Arma servers. Another one turned into a bigot, another one blocked me on Steam FOREVER without any explanation. Made a dozen Steam accounts named "why did you block me?" or "What did I do wrong?" and "I'm sorry for what I did" and sent him friend requests. More blocks. XD

Happens to all of us unfortunately. I went from playing almost every night with a group of 5-6 regulars to 0 for years. Then I discovered Reddit and made a few gaming buddies. I also met awesome people on Ghost Of Tsushima's multiplayer mode, which was the first non-shooter game I played in multiplayer AND the community was sooo much more friendly! Shooters get so much toxic players, so using Reddit or Discord to find buddies is a must if this is your kind of game 🙂

Played my first 5 or 6 missions last night holy shit what a game! It's absolutely gorgeous and runs like butter. The guns, explosions and effects are all satisfyingly meaty AF. Running through a moonlit forest with layers and bullets flying every which way, explosions going off and helldivers constantly chattering is a goddamn vibe

I love this game on so many different levels. First off, the price point. With most triple A games having the standard cost of $70, only to be a huge letdown as well as usually having horrible launches; however, this game merely asks for $40, and $60 if you want to support them ( I say support because the upgrade isn’t worth the price point IMO). Secondly, the micro transactions being the most consumer friendly system I haven’t seen since Halo Reach. The costs of the items in the store are absurdly cheap compared to other AAA games (*COD cough cough*). It’s so cheap to the fact there isn’t even an option to buy more than $20 worth of SC. And the best thing about SC in this game, is that you can earn it just by playing the game normally without any restrictions to how many you can get. Sure this game has a BP, but there’s no FOMO attached to it, as it will stay in the game even when new BPS come in as far as I can tell.Lastly, how good the game and the performance this game has. The graphics look amazing while still allowing great performance, the gameplay loop is fun as who doesn’t like spreading Freedom and Democracy with 500kg bombs. Right now there are only two enemy factions, but I can see how it can expand as this is a live service, but unlike other liver services, this delivers.

The original had tons of content 5 years from it launch and it was no where near as popular as this. There was also a third race of high tech aliens which I think they will add later. And vehicle startgems will be coming, like the mech (like in the avatar movie), the armored transport, the tank. There were loads of guns that aren't in this one rn i remember a plasma sniper, and laser machinegun. Also when you get to the end before it resets there's an ultimate boss for each race that you had to kill.

It’s crazy because the weapons that are effective on the Automatons should go crazy on the bugs because as strong as they are the bugs are still organic. They feel pain so the stronger weapons should work extra good on the bugs

This looks amazing. How did other companies not think to make a game like this? How is this not a Titanfall game? There's so many games this style would be awesome to play in. Titanfall, Star Wars, Mass Effect, Crisis, Battlefield, Halo, Anthem and more. Not that this game on its own isn't enough but imagining this but Mass Effect and there being story lore as you play through the PvE story mode that supports the story of the Mass Effect SP story... that type of stuff is what I love most. Interconnected story telling. Like if you're playing General Anakin in a prequel era Star Wars game with mentions of his spec ops squad accomplishing the missions he needs them to complete before he can start his missions and then there's a mode where you play a spec-ops Clone Trooper squad (think Bad Batch esque) that does all these support missions. You play them out, 'Republic Commando' style.
