Taking a break from Helldivers and playing other games is normal..... I don't understand this new age of gamers that want one game and that game to keep their interest at all times. It's not possible. Games will always have their highest player counts around launch with few exceptions. Game has a very healthy concurrent player count which will only increase as big updates come out. Gamers have to be the biggest drama queens around.

Baldur's Gate 3 has stayed fun and playable since the day was released so its not impossible to make a game stay fun for hundreds of hours. I crashed maybe twice in that game and probably a hundred or so in helldivers

Personally, i think "Viper Commandos" is pretty unique just not "good enough" in my opinion. The cosmetics were a nice addition and the weapons (beside the knife) were ok, but the booster was crazy good! The armors are just 'ok' and the passive are pretty much really inconsequential. Future Warbonds really need to step up their game

Look back at other warbonds that "stepped up the game" they were all nerfed into the ground. Arrowhead wanted the cake and eat it too. They wanted people to buy their bonds, but not be called a pay to win, they obviously also want the game to be very challenging judging by the pattern of enemy buffs and player nerfs. Thus anything really good that pushes you to buy the new content gets nerfed shortly after. When they realized it's pissing people off and harming the long time prospects of the game, they make a big show of "listening to the player base" and "changing course", so they can get a medal for fixing their own shortsighted mess. Viper Commandos is a clear indicator of that new course, a focus on cosmetics and non essential weapons with the "META" incentives that remain being something much more subtle (like the booster) They are not gonna step up the game because they don't want you to have anything like the pre nerf eruptor or Sickle ever again. Pilestedt plays this community like a fiddle, I would consider him an evil genius if he wasn't so bad at choosing his team. Then again incompetent minions complete the look.

I've had multiple 500kg bombs not go off in the jungle planet, not sure why. Maybe the bomb got caught in the trees or something.

Yeah probably caught in the trees, I've had it a couple times, I've found that if you level the area with a 380 first it helps the eagles a whole lot

Yeah that’s exactly why. Unfortunately air-to-ground fire support stratagems are pretty limited in the new biome. Take your chances with the trees, or bring some anti-heavy weapons

Yep, saw some of my 500 got stuck at the top of those trees. Seems like eagles are not really useful there so I start using sentries and orbital to deal with most ops.

I've personally experienced the Spear crashing my game. I was locking onto a charger, just as it was about to turn green for a lock, the game crashed. Since then, I steer clear of using the Spear; I swear the Spear is cursed.

It's just simply the lack of content, this is supposed to be live service but really the only thing live about it is new flavor text explaining the lore behind the current mission, The missions are still basically the same People are just simply bored and with the illuminate not coming until likely august once their 6 week vacation is over theres not much reason to keep playing right now

Also, Sony doesn't have a great track record of protecting data with them being hacked 5 times in a decade. Some locations require a face scan or a picture of your government ID to create an account, & a good number of people weren't about to trust that information to Sony.

Their accuracy improved with the last big patch. I think it's to encourage use of suppresiive fire and therefore load out diversity. They can't shoot you sideways anymore but damn, they sure can shoot you.

The Sony and Nerf incident didn't help. But one thing no one will admit is how much damage the community did to itself. The toxic side of this game did just as much damage. People have other games to play they can enjoy and would rather not join a community that constantly bullies anyone who doesn't play how they do. I recommend divers take a break and come back when they are ready. Losing a major order is nothing compared to your mental health. I rather have divers take a break than never come back because of a toxic diver ruining it for them.

Agreed, "get a better PC" folks are wanking themselves. Previously flawless gameplay on PS5 on performance mode now stutters multiple times per patch, regardless of planet/biome. Multiple reports on reddit of performance issues as well, with folks running solid CPU/4xxx GPUs on 1440p and not getting 60fps. This doesn't even take into account that assets don't load more often, terminals will randomly be unusable making missions impossible to complete, increased game crashes and randomly being booted back to the ship without any message, social tab doesn't load so folks can't play with friends, etc. There's a ton wrong with the game right now - it doesn't matter how fun or balanced the game is if folks are having trouble playing it in the 1st place.

When are they going to fix the fact that the automotons mobile factory can clip and fire threw mountains? I just played a defense mission and failed because a factory walked threw the mountain and flanked the generator. Mission failed. I've also had the factory guns fire threw mountains while I used them for cover.

They need to bring out more.. New Story Lines with more lore via short videos on the ships TV screen. More stratagems New Weapon mods Ship Customisations and different classess New Mechs Customisable Mechs (like sentry mode, self destruct, resupply ammo) Different Ammo types (Fire, Armour, Ice, explosive) Custom Capes Bring in new vehicles for faster large map traversal A new enemy A rogue hell diver group that players have to hunt down and bring to justice! Potentially that could open up player vs player seeing that can already kill your own team mates it cant be that hard to implement.

You know what would make people wanna play more? Giving us a real buff without a massive nerf. Adding behemoth chargers as a normal spawn makes pretty much every anti tank weapon redundant. They buffed ARs but the incendiary breaker is still better than all of them anyway. I do kinda like the adjudicator a bit but i use it for fun not because it's good. Don't get me wrong the last patch was better than most but that didn't really solve the issues of the game. Icendiary breaker + flamethrower + 500kg bomb is still the only 'meta' build against bugs. Quasar/eat/recoiless are useless thanks to behemoth chargers and their 800 hp head. Railgun is only good at taking hive guards down etc...

Yeah behemoths are annoying. AT weapons should be able to remove leg armor with one shot but they dont due to rounding error. This is extremely easy thing to fix and i would expected quick fix next day but devs doesn't seems to care. I suspect spawn rate for behemoths is broken too because i saw 2 behemoths standing in exact same spot colliding into one another like game spawn 2 entities where should be just one. Playing bug front without flamethrower is torture.

@@Steir12 AT weapons can one shot their leg armor, if you walk forward while shooting and not too far, that compensates for the -1 damage the projectile gets when it exits the barrel, dumb but this is how it it. Still they cannot one shot the head and you still have to deal with the exposed flesh on the leg, much easier to bring flamethrower and kill it this way. AT weapons are bad even when using this exploit.

I don't like saying this, but after almost 400 hours im starting to lose intrest in the game :(, don't get me wrong, I've a lot of free time and this game is one of the best I've ever played, but we need something big real soon. The new planet (even tho it's laggy) is super fun and made me stay for a couple of days. Hope they release more strats and planets, and hopefully illuminates soon :)

I would love to play, but the last hotfix tanked my FPS from over 100 to 30 and below. And that's just standing on my bridge. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting suggested on the Discord and Steam forums, with no luck. I've got a ticket in with ArrowHead support, but until it's resolved, I'll have to pass on hell diving. Oh, it's not the social menu, (EDIT: or any menu), because my FPS goes from about 90 when rendering my ship to 30 and below when my character is rendered walking onto my bridge. i.e. before I can even open a menu :(

Just found your channel, enjoying it so far. But I'm wondering if/when the friend request issue will be fixed. I have a couple coworkers/friends who play HD2 on PS5, but I play on PC. We can't accept friend requests or invite to each others squad. We have to do this roundabout nonsense of finding a low pop world and manually searching for the lobby. This is what should be basic functionality and it's STILL not working.

Why would they release the cape now? The cape resembles the reaction of players that can't access the game due to the mandatory PSN requirement. Although SONY reverted the requirement, they completely blocked sales and access to those countries without PSN access.

It sucks so hard when you put 200+ hours into a game on launch because you havent had this much fun for ages to then have it all come CRASHING down nuclear style because of incompetence or bad management, I'm at the point where i WANT the major orders to fail, i want the developers to be punished in some sort of way for monumentally fucking this up so bad.

I was back on until the hotfix broke the game again. Constant crashes and cant even use the 1 weapon that can dispatch of Bile Titans quickly. New ER DLC just dropped, and thats about to steal all my attention. Gotta fix my car and i started working out more consistently so HD2 has fallen hard to the wayside. Still keeping up with HD2 news but im not really hype on the game anymore. Im honestly waiting on the devs to admit this engine is too old to run the game smoothly

The main issue I have is that there is really nothing to look forward to now except for new warbonds or patches that hopefully buff the weapons I like some more, or new strategems that are impactful enough to make the game fun. At most I get a new title and a different icon. But there are no end game weapons or strategems to go for, and you have nothing to spend medals on either. New biomes are ok for a few days of fun, but what would really help is new environments like urban areas, underground areas (The bugs come out of holes in the ground, why can't we have a mission where we have to descend into their lairs and hunt them? you wouldn't be able to use strategems during that section too, which would make for an interesting challenge if done right), inside automaton factories, etc.. Plus I've noticed something about each planet type- they tend to feel very similar. The rock formations and general layout all feel identical after a while.
