This is a really dumb reason to kick someone. Nobody has control over what time they enter into a mission. There isn't a timer. People leave all the time regardless too. Just send out an SOS and get more people to join. This is coming from someone who's level 150. The less you have to be annoyed about the more fun you'll have.

Seriously, this. Intentionally targeting other players, doing the "Freedom Kick" close to a ledge, and calling in stratagems on top of your team are understandable. But because they joined late in the game? That's just stupid and petty.

Stupid reason to kick. Why even bother? You don't lose anything for just playing with them. Hell, I'm glad when I see someone join last minute. Even if I put in all the work, I'd rather someone maybe go up a level and have fun versus your shitty way of kicking them before they even have a chance to do anything. We're all fighting the same enemy, so either change your mindset or play solo.

U can't check the timer of mission till after u join you weird for this and even then it probably told him you were there for 25 mins the mission timer isn't ever accurate when u join

Quickplay sometimes throws you into an ending round. Plus i fail to see the downside of just letting them extract with you

You are kinda on the wrong side for this... most players just click "Quick Match" choose loadout and drop. Also you don't lose anything for having them with you... so there really no justification for kicking other than your false sense of pride

I usually join late matches too but that's because I wanna find low level guys to give them like the mecha and weapons to try, being a helldiver is about democracy, and brightening people's days, you shouldn't just be spreading hate like that.

@@Chiefinnn I'm really getting tired of players entering at the end of a mission during evacuation, only to leave before I can start a new mission. I always pay attention to the mission timer to make sure I can help out with the current mission

​@@benjaminsmith7396 The "Time elapsed" text does not reflect the progress of a mission. I've dropped into games where the main objs were already done within 15 minutes. I've also had some where I join late & NOTHING is done. There is no way of telling what the mission progress is UNTIL YOU DROP IN. This is a smooth brain reason to kick anyone. Play solo if you're gonna be like that >.>

I was wrong about doing that to a low level player, even if the multiplayer has been a bit toxic. I get kicked a lot, and for no reason most of the time. The times that it's obvious, is when I pick a strategim like the mortar turret or Exo suit. I haven't kicked anyone since this video and don't plan on doing that again. If arrowhead games could add a secondary timer that would activate when extraction is called during a mission. It wouldn't stop someone from joining, but at least inform them of what's going on in a mission.
