I just love how 3/4 of gameplay videos shows the player using the supply pack. Almost like we run out of ammo too fast.

Seems like there's better weapons to complement this playstyle. The first one that comes to mind is the Adjudicator.

The Judy could certainly work, but I think a unique perk for using the sickle here is the uptime. I believe it has the longest firing time to reloading ratio out of all primaries, and since the reload is so quick it almost becomes an LMG.

Using this with the Adjudicator or the Tenderizer works amazing, as long as you reload before you fully run out of ammo

Wow that was insane! I really need to get the sickle. I've played with the scythe and its ok, definitely not my go to. The sickle on the other hand looks like its putting in some work. I love how you paired with the supply pack so you could just run through heat syncs. I also forget that the commando is a monster. That cool down is perfect

You should and try to use the sickle on icy planets, works much better on them

A slight variation of this build that also work well is to bring the laser cannon instead. When the Sickle is about to overheat, switch to the laser cannon and vise versa. Since both of then don't need ammo, you can replace the supply pack with something else like the guard dog rover, giving you more wave clearing capabilities. You will be less efficient at taking out anything the size of an chargers or bigger so take that into consideration while using this variant build.

good shootin. On Brood commanders, aim for their two fron legs, kills their mobility and kills them a lot faster too.

if you pair this with laser cannon, you can switch between the 2 while the other one cools down. And then you can pair it up with DOG to amp up the heat damage even more !

Guess I'm not sure about the reloading on primary, I've personally not burned through several ice packs on energy weapons. You're making me want to use the sickle more that's for sure lol

I use to always let it cooldown and never burn an ice pack until now, the uptime you have for shooting is incredible with the supply pack

For these new enemies it's harder for me to keep my usual load out of grenade launcher and supply pack. I had to use 500kg eagle stike and laser and keep autocannon.

What do you need the ammo backpack for if you are using a Sickle? Should've brought the Guard Dog Rover instead

Makes video about reloading being better. Takes one of the few weapons you never need to reload if you just lay off the trigger. ......takes ammo backpack just to be sure 🤣
