After receiving suggestions to try out the arc thrower I was surprised of what it was capable of. Dismantling bile titans with ONE SHOT, CONSISTENTLY. You must have the right set up to accomplish this but when you get the hang of it, boy it's nasty.
Hope this helps y'all when dealing with those massive Bile Titans.

Step 0: Have a PS5-host in your party. Having the game hosted on PS5 makes enemies more fragile or makes them take more damage, I'm not sure which way it goes but anyway. It's a fact that playing in PS5 lobby requires less firepower to kill anything, therefore it's much more casual than PC-hosted lobby.

After my tests you don't have to time the arc throwers shots by the "click". It actually makes you underperform with the weapon, you should train your timing to release before the click - since the arc thrower does the same damage wether you release it before the click, at the click, right after the click or 10 seconds after the click. But the oneshot works. My explanation would be that the electric current runs through the bile into the titan.

The bug is (most likely) in regards to the statistic change they made to chained targets It is probably something like a 200% accuracy stat being acquired, the engine/code saying "that's impossible!!", and crashing other players I've personally not been crashed by it while using it myself, but I've seen others leave the game after I spawned one in (before they gave the warning it was bugged)

If you have the cutting edge warbond, the stun grenades are also very effective at slowing titans and chargers down to more easily manuever around them. You do loose the ability to nade bugholes and factories though, so keep that in mind if you decide to run them.

you really should make it known to people this is ONLY possible with a Playstation player in your team due to the fact you do more damage to heavies with a Playstation player. if you are a pc only lobby, this will not work.

Ya I killed a titan with 13 shots to the head might have waffled a few, I dont like these videos because everyone now considers the arc thrower good against armor. Like pick up the damn eat it I provided and shoot it in the face plse.

In our testings (me and my friends) I’ll be honest to you, we tested before and right as we heard the click. We didn’t hold it long after to test if it worked. There wasn’t too much time too with bile titans. I wouldn’t think there would be a difference since it’s fully charged. However right after the release of this video (unfortunately) the games been crashing with the arc thrower. So beware. Hope this helps ❤️

What do you mean no?! This should be hitbox based, not platform based (It should work on pc and ps5 both without issue)

@@owlenderg it is, in fact, platform based. having a playstation player on your team massively buffs damage to heavy targets (bile titans included) for everyone in the team for no real apparent reason. it makes a railgun in unsafe mode go from taking 20+ shots to kill a bile titan to only taking one or two with the ps5 buff active.

@@owlenderg They say no because this is a supposedly a bug (not confirmed by the devs) with titans health that happens when there is a PS5 player in the party (edit: not sure if host only or just in party). Just like the mythical railgun one-shot of old, if you have a lobby of PC players only or just play solo and test it, you will not be able to reproduce the one-shot with the arc thrower either. Personally I have never seen these one-shots playing PC only (crossplay off) but who knows, maybe there is more to it.

@@exomart Yeah I can unfortunately confirm you CANNOT 1 shot bile titans without a PS5 host, as a Arc thrower main and typically the host(PC) I never 1 shot any bile titans.

Higher difficulties don't make enemies stronger, just spawns more of them.

There's different versions of titans with more health, spikier legs etc, just like chargers. Enemies have different health pools for different body parts so regardless it's best to focus on the head to kill it, like like chargers
