Few tips I can think of On the defence missions with the gates and generators. An extremely effective strategy is to drop close the gate and drop the shield generator just behind it. The bubble extends over the gate. It can easily buy you about ten seconds where the enemy cannot advance at all because they have to break the bubble before they can damage the gate. Multiple players with bubbles can cycle their cooldowns and it's almost impossible for enemies to make any real progress at all even on the high difficulties. Bubbles also stop and stun sprinting chargers meaning they have a much harder time rushing the generators

If 1 or 2 people use recoiled rifle with team reloads and supply pack this mission is easy . Same with evacuation mission when they had it

I prefer to leave the gates open until we are getting pushed back. That let's you place your turrets in the open with more distance between them and the spawns. By the time they break the gates, we are already set up to defend the next level.

For Bug Eggs, any fire that touches an egg is a kill after a second ot two, so Breaker Incindiary is great, as is the Flamethrower, or Eagle Napalm. Impact Incendiaries are decent as well.

Oh,, I've never used the impact incendiary on them I will for sure be trying that next time. I do use the flamethrower a lot to bring the eggs down but it's still not as fast as just a gernade but I do agree. Flames are probably the 2nd fast way to bring down the eggs besides the explosives and then just regularly shooting at each one would be last.

For the upcoming level 10 missions i would like to see more complex main objectives. For example, the ICBM mission with sub objectives retrieve launch codes, pump fuel, turn on generator, align tower, retrieve launch codes, and turn two keys (like a bunker door button) simultaneously on differnt areas of the map to unlock the ICBM silo.

I definitely think they could do with mixing and matching mission objectives together. I'd also like to see more objectives see bunker door treatment, or close to it. Think like having the SAM turrets on automaton missions requiring 2 players to unlock the bay door that begins the mission objective. Or on the oil pipes objective instead of 2 locked sections you have to fit your pieces around, it's a second terminal on the other side of the base that controls them? So now you'd need to work with a second player to find the right path to get the oil moving, or at least hop between two terminals as a solo player. I'd like to see some secondary objectives get the bunker door treatment and require 2 players just to start it, and main objectives get something like it where having 2 players makes the objective get done faster. This will let people who like to play solo be able to continue playing the game the way they want to, even if it means they can't get all of the side-stuff done (which they technically can't thanks to bunker door points of interest anyways)

I would love to see like a 3 mission story line. First mission is exterminate then everyone gets to the bunker, 2nd mission everyone comes out the bunker and start like on oil pumps for the last mission being the ICBM or something along those lines I do like the missions that they have, I do want more variety I really liked the Dark matter missions Yeah, I would like it if the game had a way that 1 helldivers could open the bunker doors, I love the challenge of helldiver 9 by myself and I'm always sad when I see one

Then it better give us more time. Outside of that I would expect different more difficult missions overall in general not just the same old with "primaries as secondaries"

I feel like the two factions need more diverse objectives. And I don’t mean the extermination missions. The bots have fairly varied missions with the stratagem jammers, detector towers or artillery emplacements, but those are side objectives on medium to high difficulty levels. I want to be tasked with destroying some massive bot factory from the inside, or uploading a virus into an automaton supercomputer. These missions could also change the map we play on, as a supercomputer would probably be heavily fortified. When it comes to objectives, the bug side is pretty lacking. We have general missions like ICBMs or Civilian extraction, but as far as bug exclusives go there’s just the eggs and oil pumps, the latter not really utilizing the potential of the faction. I want a mission where we have to break into a fully grown terminid hive and steal a bile titan larva for research or something. Maybe capturing some essential „queen” bug like in starship troopers would work too. We also need more variety on defense campaigns. It makes literally no sense to be attacking massive, fortified outposts on a world the enemy hasn’t fully conquered yet. Vice versa, it makes no sense to have civilian extraction three sectors deep in enemy territory. I want more missions like the high value asset evacuation: only on defense and unique.

Oh yeah I totally understand. When I was writing out the script for this, my list of missions for the automaton side was huge compared to the terminid side I do understand! I feel like the scope of what we do as helldivers seems small Like 50 eggs is really just nothing I loved the Terminid Control Mission Even the Dark Matter missions feels big I do remember them saying that they were either in the works or thinking about 16 man missions. Idk what that means, I just want to play a mission where it's just chaos The end of the Dark matter missions where all the fliers are just coming out of the earth feels crazy. I kinda want a big big alien Like so large I can only see it's feet when it comes up to me The bile titan is large but it's not like crazy I really really want a driving mission Like people have to split up to get to objectives

@@wisprs_gaming Dark fluid mission was definitely a unique experience and made us feel like we’re actually making a difference in the war. And it was insane, as a horde shooter should be. I hope something like it (minus the whole planet destroying thing) makes a more permanent comeback. Cause there is mention of massive terminid hives in the game, but we only nuke them with the ICBM. Just let me go there and experience another shrieker air raid! (There was mention of a „hive buster” that would be a nuclear charge we have to manually deploy in a mature hive, I’d imagine it would be similar to the Meridia campaign) I think they said 16 person „raid” missions are being considered, not sure if they’re already in the works though. I’d just want a gigantic frontline assault mission with a massive group of Helldivers against an unprecedented automaton army or terminid swarm. Like D-day, but with aliens. Big big aliens will definitely come to us at some point, given how the hive lords from HD1 are being slowly teased. Bile titans are considered small on their home planets after all. I thought Meridia would be one such planet but I guess it wasn’t, so we’ll have to wait a little for a big alien. And yup I definitely agree on driving missions with bigger maps. Would be a pain to do alone but if you got a mission-exclusive motorbike, truck or tank it would be more manageable. Riding a freaking motorcycle through a Terminid controlled wasteland to barge into their nest and blow it up just sounds badass

Man, a motorcycle driving into a giant hive or driving out of one cuz we're blowing it up Even different types of areas would be cool Like in a cave. Can't call down orbital/or eagles unless there is a hole above I know there is a lot to do for this kinda stuff to happen I still feel like arrowhead is rolling out patches like crazy for how small they are of a company Even if they added like 1 mission to each faction with some crazy stuff Oh yeah! About the ICBM launching off to destroy a hive or bot factory When I first started playing I thought the ICBM would go attack something on the map, like a large hive but it would just go off screen If going to the area where the ICBM is landing is something I could do I certainly would do it right now

@@wisprs_gaming Having eagle 1 deploy napalm behind you as you ride on your motorcycle would be a whole new level of cool, like the ghost rider! For now it’s wild speculation though. On the topic of wild speculation, I’d like to see space battles at some point, like a tyrani- I mean terminid hive fleet clashing with the SEAF navy in orbit of a planet. And caves or buildings would be nice too. I dropped on Wasat the other day and there was an area with massive overhangs and canyon walls, so big no bot dropship could actually deploy troops and no stratagem would hit the things below. So they can do a cave map, they sorta have it already, they just aren’t doing it to the fullest yet. I do admire arrowhead for still polishing the game and not leaving it after the Sony drama. Just goes to show how much they love their game and their playerbase. Allegedly they’ve made a lot of changes to balance and added new features, so we’ll see what tomorrow’s patch brings. Perhaps even the first signs of the illuminate, and maybe a new mission or that big bomber stratagem that Johan teased on twitter And again, just let us go to the big factories and hives that we’re nuking, I want to personally strike them where it hurts the most

I laughed at the tyranid call out xD But yes, that would be awesome to see Ooohh, I didn't even think about buildings. And yes. I was extremely sad about the Sony drama. I really thought they were going to kill the game. I still feel like they are capable of ruining it but glad arrowhead was able to nicely steer away from all that and keep doing what they do I still feel like the game has so much potential There is just so much they can do Even if they just messed with weapon damage/penetration ratios and made each weapon viable in some way would send me

If your democracy officer finds out you have been diving to farm samples and not complete your mission you will be reeducated and dealt with accordingly

You can actually use the AMR on hulks - they work on the legs, arms, eye, and of course the vents. You have to be incredibly precise, but it’s very rewarding to snipe out a hulk!

34:50 If my squad and I do everything right, we usually find we can hold the bots off and they don’t get further than gate 2 (Where it gets consolidated into one choke point vs 2) and 1 guy at extraction making sure they don’t call in a factory strider and shoot over and hit a generator. It makes a helldive feel like a nice walk on the beach.

@@wisprs_gaming Often they briefly push there, that’s why I always make sure someone brings eagle airstrike/ some crowd clearer to make sure we can retake that ground before the bots call in 9 dropships, 8 beserkers, 7 devestators, 6 heavy devestators, 5 roxket devestators, 4 rpg guys, 3 anihalator tanks, 2 shredder tanks and a factory strider.

@@wisprs_gaming The cooldown is crazy too, by the time they run out you have one back. Personally, my favourite to bring is the quasar, mainly because shooting down dropships is an addiction for me only rivalled by stims.

When you land in instead of landing inside of the bug nest hole if you land on top of the tunnel more towards the back, you can land on a bug hole and take it out without getting glitched into the hole. There's a certain spot on the crest of the top that if you hit just right you can take out the hole.

After 1.000.4 patch (viper commando), enemies are also affected by fog now. So spore spewers are a great help in stealth runs

@Ottstop I only use the eagle smoke strike:O I do feel like it was something weird Like I hit it just right or something Either way though, it has to be wildly inconsistent cuz I couldnt get it to do it again
