Ah, Stalwart my beloved. Half of the playerbase hate it, but to me it's one the most fun support weapons meant for horde clearing. That max RPM is so satisfying. Nice gameplay, thanks!

I agree great bug weapon! feels good reloads on the run! I combo with the lazer guard dog and the Eruptor (that i use like a support weapon) for MAX FUN.

The thing is, I'm usually not looking for horde clearing capabilities when it come to support weapons. Lots of primaries can already do that pretty well. I only use it because it feel good to use but it term of functionalities, it not in the best place.

In my opinion the Stalwart is best used with the R36 Eruptor and Peak Physique armors. Simply use the Stalwart as the primary and the Eruptor as support weapon as it can destroy nests, fabs, other destroyable objectives and medium armored targets, its basicly a discount AMR lol, the Peak Physique passive makes them have some very good gun handling to boot

I use the heavy machine gun with supply pack and run the cookout as primary. I need something on hand that can take out the heavies like chargers. Also heavy machine gun can take out shrieker nests and bug spores.

Low RPM Stalwart is almost Unrecognizable in how it operates. I also consider it to something closer to a really solid Primary than a Support Weapon. Maybe that's how it's intended.

The way I remember which way to turn the radar dish is by going in the opposite clock direction. If the screen shows you need to move a bit counter-clockwise, then turn the dish clockwise

For it's "flaws", I've always felt the Stalwart wasn't as bad as some say. Needs a bit of love, perhaps, but not at all terrible, especially for a reverse-order loadout. I personally have been loving Stalwart(Primary)/Eruptor(support)/Bushwhacker(anti-Stalker/melee), and it is both fun and effective - and I dive in level 6 - 10 mostly. All you need to deal with heavies at that point are Orbital Gatling, Orbital Precision, and maybe an Eagle of your choice. You results may vary, of course. Great for solo-play and even better in a fireteam

Eruptor as Support, combod with the Stalwart is really nice. Not that it's easy to handle heavies with this combo, but with good orbitals/eagles and a good team, it works

@@ryell0913 Bushwhacker is generally for stagger if things get too dicey, especially with Stalkers. For this, yes, setting it to three-shots is the way to go. I rarely end up in a situation where I need blunderbuss-mode

my favorite for bugs is peak physique normal MG, scorcher (for popping charger butts), OPS, supply pack and napalm eagle for bots its HMG, scorcher, OPS, 500kg, and supply pack

Impalers have no business being this tanky tbh. Doesn't make lick of sense from both gameplay and realism perspective. Their face where all the important stuff is shouldn't be durable part imo, one mag from tenderizer in the face should kill it for good.

As much as i also enjoy the stalwart against bugs as a trash clear weapon, i don't see myself using it well on high difficulties myself. But that is just me. I kinda prefer at least 6 so it's challenging but not too ez in any sense

u die, come back to pick up ur gun and stand right ontop of ur samples, even having "E" prompted to pick em up, but u dont... is there a reason why u are not hiting "E" even tho u stand there for 5 seconds easily? as for the Stalwart, it seems to be a very solid pick for chaff clearing, and even useable for bigger enemys, very solid weapons overall ^^

Eruptor, it makes the most sense really, just use the Stalwart as the primary and the Eruptor as support and thats about it, you are better off using the MG-43 and MG-206 if you want to have other primaries
