Yeah they are really sticking to their promise of a new warbond every 2nd Thursday of the month but more than that; I'm loving the fact they are making additions (new enemies and new stratagems) as part of the storyline and not announcing it in a sterile way (which some companies have a tendency of doing) "update date x, going to add weapon y, have fun". The way we had to liberate Tien Kwan to get the mechs: gold!

Pretty cool to see so many of these upcoming things in action, Im personally excited for the SEAF Squad Drop Stratagem that we've seen here and there, Not too much information on it so far, But being able to get some extra boots on the ground against the bugs and bots will be fun

Looks like the apc call in is incomplete. There used to be an autocannon turret at the front where that circle spot is. Wonder what changed in the files.

@@SirStefanGaming I don't think so. Arrow boys try to avoid straight upgrades so APC without turret wouldn't make sense when autocanon version is avaliable. I think they might've removed the canon to work on the model or something (in previous leaks it was the least polished part of the APC, with weird artifacts and glitches). Though it might be a base of the APC and there will be variants with different turrets.

The autocannon turret on the apc is strange. When you call it in, it almost NEVER spawns with one, but every now and then it’ll be on the apc

I am really looking forward to having vehicles in the game because it will make crossing the map much less painful, especially in heavy armor. The vehicles look a lot better than they where in the first game too because in the first game they where a death trap. I know someone is going to show up and get mad that I said that but in the first game if the squad gets wiped you failed the mission and if everyone got in the APC and you crashwd it into the lava or an impaler bitch slapped it from off screen the whole team exploded and the mission failed.

I hope they can make the helmets do something. It’s cool and all but something small like increase accuracy for certain types of weapon or reduce headshot damage would be nice. It would also be nice for them to fix the bug where the god damn robots keep chasing me all over the map and sniping me with a rocket in the fog

True from what we know so far. However, the Spear isn't the best in locking and I wonder what effect fog has over extreme distances. Good that you mention it, I have to test that because the question then also is: how much interference will the laser have from passing through particles in the air? Can I hit something I can guess the location of? About ammo: I think what we've seen now isn't the definitive version. As I picked it up I noticed the infinity symbol in my HUD but after firing the designator was dropped. That doesn't match so I'm guessing this was an early version and it might just have a long "reload" time with a future mechanism like the jet pack.

At some point I thought the same thing because I recognized the design but I didn't want to start a rumor about how there will be a future option to recolor or customize armor sets. I believe Arrowhead will never go for that since one could argue it decreases the value of the designing effort put into the armor sets as they are now, along with the ultimate image they want Helldivers to have being. For now I think it'll pop up in a new Warbond at some point.

the vehicles mean jack all against the robots cuz ur just gonna get lit the F up in difficulty 9 to even make full use of it. like vehicles and sentries dont last long when the enemy can shoot back, especially with headshot rocket barrages. will be fun for bugs but its sad that a lot of weapons and strategems just arent good for bots.

It's the Eruptor that was released after this video as part of the Democratic Detonation Warbond. You might have seen it before this video in others across YT. If you've seen a difference in performance; that's because yet to be released weapons and stratagems are still subject to changes made by Arrowhead (or should I say "balancing" but that seems to be a dreaded word nowadays with this game 🤔)

Vehicle and misslile looking good so does the new mech but deployable cover seems to be rather useless vs. mechs if it can be destroyed and youll make yourself a stationary target by using the mounted mg. Same reason i dont use stationary mgs in defense missions. Not enough firepower for big enemys and drawing all the fire onto myself.

Yeah I'm not sure if the defense wall will make the cut. Like you say, it's too weak for tougher enemies and you are stuck in position. Usually I like to weave and bob around to avoid getting hit or I want to be able to quickly dive if I get attacked from behind.

Speaking of the Tendirizer: I'm also editing the warbond review video for Polar Patriots right now and the AR-61 is just more of the same without any reason to choose it over something else other than the way it looks. We don't know yet unfortunately but I'm guessing it won't be above level 50 (currently there still is a huge gap between levels 20-50 in terms of there not being a level requirement for a stratagem somewhere in that range).

We all raised some ideas in almost a workshop kinda setting, it was cool to brainstorm so who knows what might get picked up. Then again I also have the "Fake Joel" incident in the back of my mind but either way: its in the files somewhere so it's really something to look forward to but not a garuantee at this point for everything in current shape or form. Vehicles which allow for a fast rate of travel are going to be a major gamechanger though!

Imagine this (because we had some fog during this mission); if you happen to have a large map but crystal clear sight (like Fenrir for example) then you can hit anything you can see AND manage to pinpoint with your laser. Insanely powerful in terms of damage and application. It had no scope so being able to accurately light something up might prevent that scenario.

With all these new stratagems. I am hoping they provide more stratagem slots for players that get to level 50 and have some sort of prestige system that unlocks an extra slot for each prestige rank up to a max of 8 slots. Since the slots are already visible on the top bar when selecting stratagems.

That would ruin it, you no longer have to think about what you bring into the match and just pick everything, with 4 players that would be 32 stratagems/game no way that is going to happen, not even 1 additional slot is required, we already have 16/game, not everyone has to pick the same things, someone can bring the car, someone can bring something to deal with small enemies, the other 2 can pick something to deal with the big ones. That gives us some strategy, adding more slots would remove that and you no longer have to think you just sit in mechs the entire match.

Some take another slot for a backpack. That leaves only 2 for the offensive and defensives stratagems. Leaving a dozen other stratagems never being used.

Let's say at level 50 you get the option to reset your level back to 1 just to unlock 1 extra slot. You got to do that 3 more times to hit the cap. That is several hundred hours of game time.

True, then again not all new content should per se be better than everything that came before. Lots of time its more about offering sidegrades or facilitate a certain playstyle. But no matter what: a laser designator is just cool. I loved every mission in Delta Force that had them.

Someone else commented it might actually be due to work being done to the model and/or it can glitch at times when it is being called in. Other footage have shown the APC with or without autocannon as well. It's still work in progress so we'll have to wait for the go-live version and see what they decided on for a definitive configuration.

wish you asked or tested how many missiles it could fire. If the silo was just 2, then it'd be more worth to just use the Disposable rockets. Might just be another useless stratagem that we try once and then never use.

@@Postiepostman don't worry the medals will get turned out at some point. You can try restarting your game after a while. This is a "common" problem which occurs from time to time. Just make sure in the meantime the amount of medals you have in-game is not above 180 - 200 in case both major and personal order suddenly get paid out at the same time: otherwise any medals exceeding the cap of 250 are lost.

1) I purposely made sure that the thumbnail and title are warning #1 for people not wanting to see any of this 2) I incorporated a spoiler alert in the opening to make sure people who somehow misinterpreted the thumbnail and title got another chance to go watch something else 3) I have never seen any more enthusiastic teammembers than during these particular missions. If anything: I think people will be more incentivised to play as opposed to saying "oh no now that I know an APC is coming to the game I might as well uninstall it"

I know it's my #1 frustration and saving up for a solution. I'm saving up for either an XLR mic or trying to find something USB that isn't giving out these cracks because I've tried so many settings/tweaking and at times it seems fine but sometimes I can't record 1 minute and not have 20 weird cracks for some reason. Different pop filters don't help either.

Expect new automatons or terminids, or perhaps a new breed of enemies, to counter these new strategems. Lol.

Seems solid, since the balancing act will never stop for Arrowhead, although probably more the other way around as in new stratagems to counter new enemies
