You can save ammunition most effectively by not firing bullets. Remember: running away to double-back on the enemy to destroy the mission objectives while their front lines are pulled from whatever outpost they spawned at/from is a valid tactic and can save yourself a lot of otherwise wasted ammo!
@gracecalis542110 ай бұрын
@@Keyce0013Full-on stealthing also unironically works. You can have a 3 man team running the side and primary objectives and a single lone Diver with the trailblazer scout can just scour the map for POIs, collecting resources and playing like its MGSV. The game has surprisingly robust stealth mechanics. This works especially well against the bugs because there can only ever be one bug breach at a time across the entire map, so if you do have to resort to killing some enemies guarding a cache or something, you can do so when your away team triggers a bug breach and there will be zero risk of any reinforcements coming for you.

The developers really got it right with the whole vibe of playing together. Games like BF4 and those before it just nailed the feeling of teamwork. It was about us, the squad, taking on the world. So, there I was last night, playing solo and having a hard time staying alive. I sent an SOS, when other Helldivers arrived, the tides turned. We got to the extraction point and we all just clicked into place, setting up this insane defensive position and calling in all our stratagems. Watching the Terminids come at us, then boom-explosions left and right, and our turrets just going off. It was like a scene from a movie, only we were the stars, making those last stand moments not just cool but epic in the chaos and the teamwork. The cherry on top was the soundtrack, feels like Starship Troopers. I play for these kind of Helldiver moments. Democracy feels good brother.

So good to see you enjoying this. My crew used to play the original and love that HD2 is getting this insane wave of love form the community. I know this is playing with strangers but a tip when playing with a crew together which you probably can relate to with your Ghost Recon play. We usually assign one player as mission leader (job of directing the teams efforts and calling the strategic retreats). Helps get us moving on speed and not get locked down with bug holes. The other tip is a "set and peel" maneuver which helps pull away from a hairy situation and cover retreating helldivers. Where the last man retreating pulls back and sets up and lays cover fire. I couldn’t agree more. It genuinely makes me emotional seeing people my age get all giddy and into the role play of this game. TikTok is full of helldivers players sharing clips and the news of the war, and every time I get into a new group, I just find myself laughing like a kid. The intro to this vid made me cry a little, because I knew someone else appreciated this game the way I did. I think everyone does, it’s a spot of pure fun in a rather hard-living world. In an era where AAA game companies seek to make products for profit, it’s so amazing to see a small group of people make something they were passionate about, and see it bring them so much success, an us so much joy. I know it’s just a game and I know this was long winded, but I really do appreciate video games as a medium and how they’ve helped me cope, and getting one as good as this just hits me hard.

"M.I. Does The Dying. Fleet Just Does The Flying." Yes the game gets increasely harder. Yet as do more missions successfully you'll unlock more Orbital & Eagle strikes and weapons & armor. Certain support weapons or strikes are better used on mass groups of enemies or larger armorer enemies. The squad supporting each other is quite a fun dynamic of the game. Hitting the unarmored weak points or blowing off the armor is possible. Going after dropped gear and samples is thing. Sometimes exploring non mission sectors you find a weapon and resupplies. Many mission terminal quest points, better to wait and setup a defense before using. As for the drop ship after calling it in, rather then standing on the pad, retreating to a better spot or running a train of enemies away from the pad is better option. Calling in combine strikes and then sprinting into the shuttle with stims can be narrow escape. BTW there is stealth in the game, so crouching and going prone helps before attacking or getting spotted. Some patrols will walk on by. Others you have to hit key enemies before they call in reinforcements. You can solo, which is riskier. Even random squads has its own craziness, and can be much fun if able communicate. Making battle buddies and teaming up is all part of the fun. A coordinated squad on coms is best. The game give rewards for helping lower tier missions as well. So racing to the hardest level, isn't always ideal. Everything is currently unlockable by level 20, with enough creds by 33 to have all the stratagems bought. Still need to run mission for medals and samples. And since any mission can give super credits as loot and the Warbonds as few credits as well. Enough playtime you can buy the cool super store armors. Don't feel like loot box rip off game at all. Currently Armor Value isn't working between Light, Medium, Heavy Armor. So it's better to use Light armor with whatever extra bonuses you desire. "I'm doing my part." "Service Guarantees Citizenship."

My team was not available this week and i played with strangers for the first time. I think everyone's really nice so far, totally different than other games. This was the next Gen experience i was waiting for since ps3

they hit the nail on the head with Helldivers 2, the game is difficult (if you want it to) but everything still feels convenient in some strange way
@deefactual10 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree. The balance and timing of this game are both very significant, you have a generation of gamers who are hitting an age or time where they don't necessarily want the sweat experience. This game isn't trying to take away from that for those who want it, but it caters for those who want a challenge or don't, and want team mates, or don't. I hope this is the first of many games being released with the same essence 🫡

As a solo player, never in a million years would I think I'd love this game so much. Team up with randos and go save the galaxy! (also, I'm not using a headset, do I need to?). I've just been following the more leveled up players around

Orbital drop pods do not just remind of ODST, but also of Rogue Trooper, especially if we take into account the side gear that you can have.

I’m in California, U.S. and playing with Ireland, India and Australia has been fantastic. I’ve f we can’t understand each other, we use the pings and emotes and we get it done. In fact, in many cases, words have been the source of misunderstanding. They gave us plenty of ways to express intent in game. It reset a bar that was lost and it will be difficult to go to games that aren’t as streamlined.

Games like this (very similiar with DRG in this respect) can suck you in the premise so hard, that when you play with randoms, they aren't random. They Helldivers fighting for Liber-Tea, god damnit! If they see a nuke, they salute Super Earth. If they see bug, they scream until either their mag is empty or bugs dead. They are comrade in the very military sense of the word, and that helps build community so well. Such a shame my laptop isn't strong enough, I can't fight for Democracy, but I can support the brave souls fighting the soulless hordes.

I had a very funny bug that made an specific mission quite legendary. A fellow helldiver reinforced me just before the pelican arrived and I landed exactly where the pelican was touching the ground. Somehow, that caused the game to not detect that we were inside the pelican, so we pretty much shouted 'FOR DEMOCRACY' and kept killing bugs until we ran out of ammo and reinforces. 😅

tip for the charger is to run the left then spin around and dive towards him at the right, it has a slow turn so it wont hit you and ull be right behind him. also his front legs are his weakpoint but u need to take off the armor first
