Thanks so much for this most informative video. Have been growing hellebores for three years and I have one that is triple the size of the others. Happens it is the one I like the best and I would like to both divide it and collect seeds. I am thrilled with the whole process because they are not just deer resistant, to me, but really deer proof. Love this plant, but they are pricey.

Hellebores are new to me so I don't yet have any to divide, especially since we've had some 90 degree days in 8b Texas. I divide daylilies much like you do hellebores, except that I put them in a bucket of water first. My arthritic fingers can then separate plants more easily.
