I will always get a kick out of the fact that Griffin is mortally terrified of elevators, and yet included so many of them in TAZ.

I mean it's the same idea as Batman. Make others fear what you fear

I think after the first episode with elevators, more were included out spite because people were like, noooo, you can't have elevators in this fantasy game

I mean. If Upsy (your lifting friend) isnt enough to make you also terrified of elevators then I dont think you're altogether human

Weird how you can be afraid of things but also talk about them knowing it won’t do anything to harm you 😛

FUN FACT: The man who invented the safety elavator that is commonly used today demonstrated the safety of his system by cutting the line in front of a crowd and falling 50 feet only to be completely safe.

when i tell you that i would shit myself so unreasonably fast if i fell 50 ft in an elevator--

@@marchsteiger how would it be unreasonable if you were given a legitimate reason to quickly shit your pants

Hold up, wikipedia says it only fell a few inches. He'd be dead if it dropped 50 right?
@KairuHakubi Жыл бұрын
@@zz8az it's not how far you fall, it's how quickly you stop. one assumes this was a nice slow 50-foot fall, because the point of safety elevators is they can't go very fast even if they wanted to. Too much friction, and dead-man's brakes if I'm not mistaken. However, 50 is a lot of feet to fall. I mean what if the elevator failed on the 2nd floor, you'd hit the bottom before it stops.. but that's okay as long as it was falling slowly.

One of my favorite bits, especially Griffin's "hungry mouth full of gears." My one question is, if Travis had an elevator drop by one floor while staying at a hotel with his brothers for a live show, why didn't he tell this _horrifying_ story to them then? Or did the free snacks placate him so thoroughly that he forgot about it?

If he'd told them then, those hungry hungry boys would have demanded some snacks from that treat basket.

Escalators are NOT safe when they break. HOLY SHIT they are not safe. Think a hole in the floor opening up beneath you into a body grinder. VERY BAD
