The reaction from the sibling preening was priceless !! Funny how it stood up and then wingersized. Another first flight will happen very soon. And what a great hover that was to get to the perch. Bravo !!

Very interesting trait (or learned behavior) how the nestling backs up to the outer perimeter of the nest in order to “evacuate” outside the nesting area.
