Hellgate Osprey - Sibling Chit-Chat, Cliff-Walking and "CHEEP!" 🥰 Su 8/18/24

I mean LOOK at these babies! They've grown up SO fast, haven't they? What a fabulous season this one is! I sure don't want it to end, so am savoring every beautiful moment of this family that we are so very blessed to follow.
Come September, one by one, they will leave = all heading south to wherever they will migrate to. All we ever have is right here, right now - so heck yes! I will continue to enjoy every single now moment that we have left w/them.
And speaking of, today the kids have been flying in and out. Here we see Sum-eh fly on in and she makes some soft vocals upon her arrival. Isn't she a beauty?! Soon after, here comes brother and isn't he a handsome one? They share mutual chit-chat which I find so endearing.
Next - can we please note the resident cliff-walker?! LOL. Antali LOVES living on the edge, doesn't he? I truly wonder if - since he fludged via rails giving way and he slid off nest, being forced to fly for the first time - MAYBE he wants to slide off again? LOL. I mean they ARE kids after all and kids love to play. Who knows why he does this but it cracks me right up!
Sum-eh tells brother: "I'm taking off, catcha later!" and off she goes. Antali amuses himself and us, via his cliff-walking puttering around.
Then we get treated to his ADORABLE vocalizations which he concludes by looking right at us as if to say: "There you go!" =D
Eventually, he scopes out the skies ALL around, more than once, making sure the coast is clear, then he too departs.

I love how they get along so well for the most part. I have watched other Osprey nests where siblings wouldn’t even let the siblings that fledged back on the nest. These two are something special.

Except when it comes to food 😆 but I didn't know they most Osprey siblings don't get along as well. His chirps are the sweetest 🥰
