You have done the right thing for clan boss progression but the wrong thing for short term progression

6 Star Athel ASAP. Since you already have masteries on her she's the easiest way to get a fast brutal 12/6 campaign farmer which you desperatly need to level up more food for further progression. Use the barrel on Athel too. Also, a 6 star athel will hard carry you through all the other missions in the game which will keep that energy flowing.

You’ll do fine! I started a F2P about 3w ago and pushed arbiter through the sacred in 3-4 days and then got my 6 star on day 4 or 5. You can still progress. Comparison is the killer of all joy! I don’t think it’ll put you behind much if at all

You’ve done the right thing because you would have to do the missions either way, you’re still early in the account and can 60 lots of champs very quickly soon enough

Focus 6 star Athel probably your best bet. Arbiter missions are a pain early and mostly a waste of energy with some huge hurdles for wich you need a couple of 6 star to overcome them. Yes the potions keeps might close and you'd get stuck for a couple of days for arbiter progression that just give you time to farm more chicken and spend energy on useful places.

You have that really annoying "reach level 7 ascension" so you need to be doing Gold arena for ages, just to get Arbiter. I'd go back to level 60s

I Feel you HH, im not the most knowledgable raid player (as im primarily a ftp casual mid game player) But ive def found myself in a similar situation. Yes, i did pull a leggo with an ancient (loki, he def still will help me alot) and my first sacred was a Geo..so hell yeah!!. But i still have yet to get a 60 still, and now im stuck on energy. Mainly because i dont know how to control my energy early on. I am just programmed still to click on red dots and new things given to me haha. Oh and not to mention i screwed up and gave my first full masteries to Tagoar instead of Kael R.I.P.

for the new year event i made a new alt account. Then i got rotos with the free new year prism shards. then i got gaius the gleeful with campaign sacred shard.then i got abbess with 4 days into the account through a ancient shard. then i got wukong with monkeyking promo code and i got ursula the mourner epic as well..ALL THIS WITHIN LIKE 8 days 😅 wish i got the luck for my FTP acnt challenge.

Im on Day 4 and i choose the same Path like you HH, need to fuse Justiciar to get the Sacred shard, have 2x 5stars and 3x lvl40s, tommorow probably be done for Kael 6 star, did masteries on kael and wukong. Pulled Frozen Banshee (i guess thats kinda a lego lol). Cleared normal,hard (3stars) and brutal done (few stars needed to get the sacred) BUT i didnt upgrade uugo or tagoar only push to lvl40. AND on Challenges im on the last quest on each category. Also i used every bit of the remaining gems for energie + promocodes SO ITS NOT A WASTE TO GO THIS ROUTE, ITS KINDA 2-3 DAYS BEHIND THEN ONLY DOING YOUR FIRST 6 STAR ;)

Is it smart to use gems yet for energy? You are only level 35, so you get maybe 100 per refill? Vs when you are level 50 or 60, where you are getting closer to 120/130 per refill.

I pulled the damn polar bear from a sacred and haven't gotten even an epic from an ancient yet. :/ I guess I got gorgarab from my other ancient. But so far my shards have been mostly ass. lol

You are doing great, while you really need a lv 60 hero, i say get that sacred shard first and see where it goes. Max Energy increase and some gems coming your way soon so hang in there.

I too made the mistake to 50 multi champs and I am correcting course to get 6 stars instead. It would hasten my progression by a lot. So maybe go 6 star

In my opinion, you´re route was totally fine. 1 6-star wont get you to Dragon 20 or NM CB. You 6 star your Champions anyway.

I'm going 60 on Athel or Toragi. I put Toragi at 60 already, that's it. I am sooo low on energy I need to just farm hard and get my 60. I don't think I can get to brutal 12-3 yet without a 60.

The sacred shard from Missions is not going to do much. I mesn you are relying on HEAVY RNG. Legos takes a lot of resorces, I would Focus on the 6*, Then another and so on. Lvl 16 dungeons for early gear. Then CB nightmare + Dungeons 20. Arbiter is good for arena. But at this stage just farm 1 man defences. PS: Sacred shard from teh brutal campain is easier than the ones in arbiter mission IMO Everyone does this thing not picking Kael. It is never worth it

You made a mistake buying masteries. For athel thats it focus on ruel you can use him for clan boss and so much more. Even without books he will destroy. If i pulled my ruel even a year ago i would have built him.
