Elva/Gnut/Marius/Ramantu/Emic without any empowerment or high awaking (Emic at 3 star as highest), so team consisting exclusively of fusion or reward champs: 175M dmg on NM (99M coming from Marius + 56M coming from Gnut) 150M dmg on UNM (80M coming from Marius + 56M coming from Gnut) The downside is that amount of trials finished is quite low but still some room for improvement with gear swapping... I think people are hugely sleeping on Emic, decrease cooldown is huge for most max HP champs like Gnut or Marius and he still brings something extra with his taunt, Shield and unkillable (quite handy against Ram head)

The team I put together in the first week I was quite happy with because 4 of the 5 were either free or fusions. Gnut/Lydia/Ukko/Bambas. In my team, the 5th was Riho who obviously isnt free, and while her kit is nuts, she can be subbed for a cleanser/healer with block debuffs as I dont have Feral on her. This team hit over 100m on Hard and Normal while doing 9 Trials. The only champ who was purpose built was Riho, the rest were just usual builds. I suspect the team wont be fsr off that on Brutal either, but Ive been out of town eith no time this week.

Geomancer is inevitable, i think its important to point out that this testing is done at a time where there is no additional ignore defense from live arena great hall. Once that chimera line is added and more ignore defense comes in, alot of the top dds will pop off harder.

Okay, so on the subject of Coldheart coming back into the spotlight because of Max HP- wonder what would happen with Arminger?! A champ that surely many people have maxed and sitting in the vault for ages now. Arminger in Relentless or some sort of TM boosting/extra turn comp spamming the A2? He’s also def based as we all know. Also, Royal Guard! Thor helped his team do more dmg because they got more turns due to decrease speed. RG has the decrease speed as well, plus a Dec def.

My team on UNM - Ramantu (dec. def, weaken, dec. speed, unfortunately his fear and block active skills can't work here), gnut, mikage as a lead (ally attack, incr. buffs, incr. debuffs) and - wait for it - senna and opardin. They are nuts together. My senna with 311 speed went 3 times before chimera first turn. Everyone was like 2 or 3:1 during whole fight (and opardin wasn't booked and him and senna no masteries and blessings). They did 117 mil. in turn 50 something, when lion form killed me for some mysterious reason, but when their gear is optimized, I think 200 mil. is accesible.

i did my own research in Nightmare and i got these results using similar gear: Blessing: Smite: 300k damage Whisper is ok damage (6 star ascended + crus. rent) Son Wukon has poor damage, and a big A3 damage (+300k) Amius, poor damage, is second form looks better Ninja seems to have a very good damage (6 star ascended + crus. rent) Taras A3: +400k damage A2: 400k damage Frolnji: A2: 300k A3: 150k Teox: A1: up to 500k; A3: 500K; Teox A3: +300k (5 star ascended + crus. rent) Harima: A2: +120K; A3: +100k Gnut: +1M damage A3

This is going to be highly setup and gear dependent. For example my harima once her passive is stacked hits for 1 mil+ on the A1, and that's without a 6* blessing, not to mention there are people with much better gear than me. Which don't get me wrong, I know you said "similar gear" but you have to keep in mind these champs scale very differently from each other. "Similar gear" doesn't really mean much when you're comparing regular damage vs EMHP etc.

Choose damage mode and select the maxHP damage skill. But the key really is crit cap, as much crit damage as you can, ignore def and speed. Then there is the importance of reflex/cool-down reductions so you do maxHP hits more often. So it’s a pretty complicated formula

I run them both as well and have done extensive experiments and tests myself (PB 150m UNM and 180m NM). The reason hades’ gnut did more is not because gnut is a better damage dealer, but because he shreds 30% of the boss defense over time. This boss has very high defense so that makes a big difference. Thats also why running both together, where they both benefit from that def reduction, results in acrizia doing more damage than gnut, and its not even close.

Most of the lower damage champs were magic affinity. Given that the non-ultimate forms are force right now, I wonder how often the weak hit and didn't get debuffs out because of it. I'd like to see this same test with all the same champs when the affinity changes, just to see how big of a difference that makes. Also, I'd like to see how big of a difference it makes to throw a lot of these champs in something other than crushing rend. If CR isn't at 6*, why run it? It only works once/twice unless it's at 6*. Putting in more smites or even phantom touch probably would have done more.

I think Geo may be way overrepresented here in this list just due to the setup. The others should be able to scale higher easily with a better team etc, but geo is pretty much hard capped since his damage is completely dependent on the boss. I think a really low damage team like this is pretty much the only way for him to shine.

In the first cycle, I did 120M with Razelvarg, Duchess, Gnut, Lady Mikage, and Ninja on Chimera Hard, the damage dealers doing 37M, 39M, and 34M respectively. I have no idea what I was doing and I was on nightmare but going for trials I had to switch my team up so the ram kept targeting my reviver which was duchess. I found if I went into RAM form with no Buffs he only hit me once or twice which didn't touch her HP. I couldn't figure out what was causing it to flip out and hit me 10 times and it seemed when I went in there with no Buffs he didn't do that

Try running Gnut in a 6 piece merciless set and triple refresh accessories.... Dont use the A2 during the fight.. Pair him with a refresh champ like Yumeko (I use her because I don't have kymar or krixia) ... The Trick being it must be a 6 piece merciless set...I found that It works much better than a 9 piece set up... Then watch him do the Lords work... You have to manual the fight of cause since You need to monitor the reset from the reset champ to get the best case results.. I run him as my only damage dealer in this set up and he one keys easily

My best are harima and wallmaster. My harima is doing way more damage than your testing. Wallmaster is definite gem for chimera. He's cycles his abilities faster than nut and acrizia. Nut is just better for this rotation when the others open hell fall off a little. Just like wallmaster will get better once the rotation changes.
