I really enjoyed this Q&A - very mature and sincere answers :) It was nice to see your candid responses to the comments section discussions. My paati lives at home with us. You're absolutely right when you say the best way to solve issues is to say yes to them as much as possible. They're going through a lot of pain and losing things like sight and hearing can be very scary. Most of all, paati really loves when we just sit with her and talk to her. Make her feel included, let her know what's going on and ask her opinion. My paati really loves when I ask her for a recipe and she'll explain it for me in detail. Taking care of their needs is one aspect. Making sure we take care of them emotionally and make sure they feel like they are also contributing to our lives is important too.
