I don't think its that bad. They are only saying the bad aspect of their relationship, doesn't mean their relationship are completely horrible. They must also have good aspect, when the dude at last was saying sorry , the girl got so emotional that she was almost about to tear up. He is here because he doesn't trust her. If he can improve on that then their relationship can be better. May be he needs help of relationship coach. You heard what IVY said right, "she is announcing whole world that he is her man" by coming forward to national television (you know thats really big deal for a nation like south korea) , she obviously want to improve her relationship. The mom probably wouldn't have even brought the true abuse up if the son didn't reveal it when he got the mic. I can't believe that he would treat someone that way, especially his wife. After hearing all that she does every day she doesn't even get a chance to rest let alone eat, I feel that that's not only physical abuse but emotional abuse. She also expressed how he was rough with her , how she wanted a divorce, how her son has to defend her, and how she bottles everything up inside. She isn't even treated properly by her husband unless he wants to get with her. This is such a serious matter, how can they romanticize it and basically treat it like it's normal? The entire thing is creepy and I feel bad for those kids who have to witness and struggle through it I'm surprised that they can even advertise that as love I felt like throwing up after hearing it.

I feel sorry for the boy in the second concern. I'm the youngest of 4, but my siblings always pass down their chores to me. Obviously it wasn't to his level, but I used to get so upset when my friends were only children or the oldest and didn't have to do as many chores or got more time to play. Good luck Yeongjin!

I'm the eldest around my siblings, and I find sad and bad at the same time for the young boy. My youngest sibling always get upset by my second sister for being ask to do the milk formula and changing diapers and I understand where she's coming from because my sister can do it herself alone but instead, she ordered our youngest to do it for her. I can't imagine it to him. My sister's kinda tall and a little mature body even if she's just 14 but she get tired of doing those, not maybe because it's physically tiring but the mere fact to do it always and it's my sisters responsibility is upsetting.. But yeongjin.. have six girls to follow orders.. That must be hard. And at his age and physical body, obviously that's tiring.. Euiwoong was really right. It's a concern. Yeongjin seems really kind and nice but it doesn't mean her cousins and sisters should ignore the fact that he can get upset too. :(((

This should be called the "Abuse Episode" because all of these concerns pissed me off. 1st concern was a classic abuse tale; she should run as fast as she can away from him. 2nd concern, omg what a bunch of ungrateful bitches; they're taking out frustrations on the kid because grandma shows him more affection? Grow up. 3rd concern pissed me off the most because the husband is so egotistical and abusive to everyone that his own son starts crying. Yet, they say the husband is charming (yea, psychopaths are charming). This show makes light of very serious subjects that they're not equipped to handle.

the second concern broke my heart a little because you could tell that his mother had no idea how bad he had it fro his noonas and she must have felt terrible for not stopping it or trying to stop it. the part where he said he doesnt show manners at school because of his noonas was really heartbreaking too. i just that after being on this show things change for him a little. i hope that dont order him around as much and say thank you to him at least.

As an older sister with a younger brother, I get what they're saying about boys being doted on by the elders in the family, but it's no reason to be petty and force him to do your errands. As the oldest in my family with two younger siblings, I agree 10000%. Unless the younger brother was a complete brat who never does anything and was a jerk all the time, he doesn't deserve to be treated poorly. He didn't ask for any of that. And even if he *was* a complete, ungrateful brat (which I somehow doubt), it's not the older sister's place to try and put him in his place or whatever by being petty and ordering him around. My younger siblings have often gotten better treatment than I did (just a side effect of being the first born lol) but I understand that it's not their fault.

As soon as that kid cried I BROKE DOWN. I know what it's like to be a child & watch an abusive (physical and verbal) relationship, knowing you can't do anything about it. Honestly the third concern is really pissing me off. The husband is very self centered and just a horrible person. He thinks that just because he works he can at the way he wants? Then when he wants to have sexual relationships with his wife he should get her permission like it doesn't matter if they're married or not. It honestly really bothers me that all the adult guests didn't think the 2nd concern was a real concern, and yet Euiwoong could recognize it as a concern. It's not even just that he's experienced something similar - he even recognizes that the situation could seriously impact the boy in the future. It seems that Euiwoong was able to address and better his situation soon enough, but he realizes that things like that can easily pile on more and more until they reach a breaking point. That's such a mature observation to make. The other adults all seemed to understand that up until the end; I was really hoping they would say it's a concern. It's one thing for Oong to say it's a concern but when the three most "mature" guests all say it isn't, obviously that'll impact whether the sister/cousins really take it to heart. It might not seem that severe now but that really is a form of abuse (forcing him to be their servant, putting all this pressure on him, hitting him). It's already apparent that their treatment is shaping how he views girls, based on how he interacts with girls from his school. He'll end up back on the show 20 years down the line with his wife as the guest instead, complaining about how he treats her. Anyway, I'm just hoping they lighten up and realize this is such an important period in his development and if they aren't careful, they really can permanently impact his personality.

Since you are young you are told to respect older siblings, older cousins, elderly and parents. if they ask you to get something you're expected to do it without any disrespect (saying ugh or u do it). I don't know the second story can be laughed at. I get the seniority customs in Korea and younger means sometimes you take the burden for some things, but this kid is 11, and they're grown adults/teenagers who are just lazy. He rages and cusses at my mom (or even hits her) and there are times where he smiles at my mom and I don't want my mom or any other woman go through that. And I really feel bad for children. They might've hit on something bringing Lee Euiwoong on the show. I don't know about him being a permanent guest, as some concerns may be too inappropriate or too mature for someone his age to tackle. Since he's gaining popularity fast, put him in variety shows geared towards his demographic. Maybe create one he can host with someone like Lee Soo Min. But back to what I was saying about "hit on something". They don't have to replace Taejoon (well, not entirely). Just like Euiwoong, they can have past guests appear on the show and sit with them. in the last concern, honestly, the oldest would be a better husband+father than the actual father. he's very responsible and mature, and understood his mom as a woman. plus, when he started crying, his sister comforted him instead of his actual dad, who was told to do so. kudos to the mom for raising her children the way she did, and tbh she should just file a divorce.

Regarding the first concern, what he said about his friend. He said she was careless, but she knew it was his friend, so obviously she didn't feel the need to be overly conscious about everything. When you're with friends, you're more careless. It's a sign of trust.

the 1st and 3rd concerns were actually a lot more serious than they made this out to be. In the 1st concern, I'm glad they called it out as abuse but I really wish the girl would've broken up with the guy because he honestly doesn't seem mentally stable, especially with her. And the 3rd concern frustrated me so much, this sounds and most likely is marital rape. He is using her as his de-stressing mechanism and as some toy rather than as his wife. It was really hard to watch knowing how wrong the whole situation was. On a lighter note, the 3rd sister from the 2nd concern WAS SO CUTE WOW MARRY ME

First concern, the guy is abusive, I dare say, psychotic man who disguises his psychosis and violence with "she might get attacked" heard that excuse too many times on this program. Second concern is family bullying and they outnumber the boy. Third concern is similar to the first, verbally abusive, borderline sexually abusive{no means no dude} and just a guy who likes to take out his anger on his wife. Hello Counselor has done a good job of showing how shitty behavior is normalized and alot of times the victims have no one to turn to or they face public shame. I understand this is a variety show but I wish they brought on an actual counselor and not just celebs for viewership ratings.

I was excited to see Eui Woong again. But I cried a lot when the son started crying. I can relate to him a lot and Woohyuk. My father is also strict and fought with my mother in front of my younger sister and I. We were really scared of him and didn't even want to ask him for anything of fear he might yell at us. Even though we're older, we still fear my father. But I'm glad the issue was fixed and hope he loves them and treats them better. Cause this could cause their emotion to become a little unstable and if they were to have any problems, they wouldn't ask him in fear. So this comment ends in a happy note, FIGHTING!!

i feel bad for both parties in the first concern, that relationship isn't healthy for either of them. she needs to move on and he needs to resolve the issues he has with his self-esteem before even attempting to be an a relationship. i know some would say that the guy is at fault, and i am not defending him, but the biggest problem with people who have issues with self-concept is that they are thought of as selfish and toxic. but how would they ever get better if no one encouraged them to seek professional help?

Well, a show is a show. Considering that the producers, the hosts, etc. need to deliver such harsh and serious subjects to a 15+ audience, it's understandable that they're trying to laugh about it and make a joke out of the situations. As the other comments say, I really hope that behind the stage the crew has hired real professionals who take care of these people (psychlogists, caseworkers, etc.). And did you see the man from the last concern? Not only he's sexually harrasing his wife and treats his children extremely bad, but he's looking quite scary. Look at his stare! When his wife was telling him that she would like a better treatment and when his son started crying, he was looking at them like "When we get home, I'll beat you all. How dare you!". Maybe it's just me, but this man has serious issues! And that one from the first concern... geez, mate, go see a psychologist!

About the third concern. Even when you're in a relationship, forcing someone to have sex is a crime. No one should be forced to have sex with someone else, his girlfriend or wife is not his possession, he is a person who has the right to choose whether or not to do something. Most of the Korean men who appear on this show are so old-fashioned that many of their thoughts would be considered crimes in other countries.
