I think the guy in the first concern has low self esteem and a lot of self hate built up. It seems like he didn't like the way he was when he was younger so he found someone to emulate to somehow change himself, but along the way he completely lost his own identity and now relies on this fake image to keep his self esteem in check. I hope he comes to his senses and finds who he really is as a person and stops making the people around him suffer.

They're not gonna have the memories of a happy family when they grow up and they might even end up doing bad stuff due to their parents lack of affection especially because they are physically abusive (the parents hit the kids a lot) That's what happened to my cousin and he's still broken 😔

Mae Mae I always feared that my sister and I would go down the path when we were older. Every single time my mom went to work, my dad decided to leave to go to a bar when I was 6 and my sister was 3. My mom and dad constantly argued with each other every single day about it, and sometimes he could be abusive towards my mom, plus me and my sister. I just hope that their kids don't ever grow up doing bad things in their future.

wow as always here to give my views n thoughts: 1. wow it was a success that his best idol recognized n spoke to him, he should thank n love his wife MORE for giving him that chance.. And please let him know himself more even if it's just to say he is good at laughing it's better than saying nothing, 2. wishing them good luck, they handled it well and i believe they will be happy. The kids crying made me tear up and i hope the parents will make them more happy.. Daebak the kid chose the dad over his addiction that made me smile n happy 3. the father-in-law should quit or reduce the smoking for the sake of his family it is hard but if you keep them in mind every time he smokes or drinks it will be easier.

I think everyone has their own way of expressing their shock about people beating their kids. The normal response is total disgust. However, I don't think that they're not taking it seriously. I think they've expressed it in a different way. The way the mom bursted out laughing, it wasn't just 'cause her young son is saying that to expose her and it's cute - I think it's her not realizing that he'd actually say it, but it probably started to remind her of the faults that she and her husband has in the methods they use to discipline and teach their children. Though I just sound like I'm giving the adults the benefit of the doubt, but how can I not? The way I hope for it is that the more we moderately treat adults as though they're smarter than they believe they are, but not to the extent that they'll turn into conceited people, the more their self esteem and communication skills may increase. It's tough, for all ages. Young Ja unni has expresses her disappointed in it by calling the person's name in a specific tone of voice. When the child said how he was beaten by his dad, Dool Seon unni gave an exasperated "OMO" with upset and shock. They usually end up telling the children, or any guest who expresses this sort of issue, to tell the host everything so they can expose and try and resolve and clear up all the misunderstandings. Because I come from a family who, half would use physical abuse on their children when they're misbehaving, and the other half who'd use tricks and other means like negotiating methods, I have disgust for this sort of issue, so don't get me wrong. I'm not siding with the parents. I think they did the right thing to come on this show in some ways. It'll expose them and their family to the world, help them communicate and hear both sides to the story as well as 3rd party stories to see it from all angles possible. It usually seems from many different things and obviously, any kind of abuse is wrong, but unfortunately, not everyone knows what is abuse if it isn't physical or verbal abuse. Some people are just naive to it or they've never been told before that it's wrong to do this or to say that or when to say or do things to better the situation. Like what they told the lady -- you shouldn't nag or scold your husband for scolding your children in front of the children. Do it when they're not around. If children see that sort of behavior, later in their lives, it becomes their own way of doing things because that's all they know. I don't have children nor am I married, but this is all not that hard to see. I have many friends who are married and have children, including my relatives whom I see often. I observe the way they handle things; which way can work and which way will lead to other problems. Sorry for the long post x_x

Nothing wrong with admiring someone else qualities, but that can be a double edge sword. Loving yourself for who your meant to be and bringing your own good qualities to those around you, to yourself best gift you can give. I think he can actually get more positive responses, attain his goals being himself not a carbon copy of someone else. I kind of understood though. I mean imagine being in her position; the love of your life does a complete 180 on you and stops with he affection, and after years he decides to say something sweet. It would catch me off guard too and make me feel horrible it almost seemed unbelievable from his side. I feel like they both need to learn from each other how to make one another better. Since the father keeps mentioning the fact that he has male authority he should starts by showing more affection and being less angry. Once he does that she surely will be calmer and more affectionate with him too. Its a relationship meaning fault is ALWAYS going to be from both sides one way or the other. They need to learn how to be with one another in peace all over again.

I feel like for once Hello Counsellor talked enough depth for the 2nd married couple, maybe because the MCs are married so they can relate. Unlike when someone has a mental illness which they can't seem to understand. I feel like that the married couple realised their own flaws and kind of remembered what it was like when they were courting. That's why marriage is hard, it ain't just about feelings it's about communication, commitment and being selfless. No one is perfect that's why it's hard.

For the second concern, I felt that it made sense for the father to allow their children to play with the phone if they were being good. And if they disobey, it makes sense for him to tell his kids to turn it off. I’m not an expert on parenting or anything, but my parents are the same way. If we disobey, they take our phone. If we’re being obedient, they give us our phones. I feel that it isn’t necessarily the father who is the whole issue, but that some of it is the mother. If his sons want to keep playing, perhaps they could set up a number of different things for the sons and father to do, such as tops, slap-match, and whatever else they like to play. Maybe for even two hours. I AM NOT CONDONING HIS ACTIONS NOR BEHAVIOR, I AM JUST STATING THAT THERE IS MORE OF A CAUSE EFFECT CHAIN THAN THEY REALIZE

Most people who drink smoke because drinking is a depressant and they need an uplifter. The grandfather should at least live alone because of the children and the second-hand smoke! Babies are eager to follow so they are going to look up to their grandparents and parents so it's inevitable that the baby copied his actions. Plus he's killing himself early.
