I am so happy that you are back☺️ I have been rewatching all your older videos because I really missed the podcast. You inspired so many of my recent projects☺️ I finally finished my wednesday sweater using „pink lake“, a stunning suri from Olivia&Oliver fibers and I‘m currently on sleeve island on my festival sweater, also using yarn from Olivia&Oliver fibers. The colorway is apple blossom and sweet pea and I think it will be similar vibes to your own festival sweater but pink🥰 thanks for all the inspiration!

Happy to see you back! For the too long turtleneck, try flipping it inwards as opposed to rolled out. I’m a personal stylist and I recommend that to clients who have short necks 😅. That, or fold it inwards and then outwards, it’ll make a short rolled neck. But that depends on your proportions! Such lovely knits!!

Sometimes when I don’t want to pick back a bind off I will just pick up the stitches on a smaller needle around where I think the length will work and just cut off the first row 😅. If you’re thinking about shortening the terrazzo neck piece it wouldn’t matter if you lost a little yarn and would save a ton of time!

That’s what made it look even more like a neck brace, unfortunately 😆 I’ll keep trying though! Haha

You could fold the turtle neck towards the inside of the dickie so you don't have to undo the tubular bind off. This way, you can wear it as short or long as you like depending on the weather or the look you want. Love your finished knits.

I love all your knits! I have a question about storing yarn in vacuum seal bags- I heard it could trap moisture in and be bad for the yarn. Is this true? If it's not then I need this space-saving method in my life. Good luck with your move! Happy knitting 💚🧶💚

I’ve only seen moisture created when I was sorting yarn outside and the bags were in the sun/humidity, but all of the dry yarn I’ve put in dry bags in my house has been unharmed 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I’ve had my yarn in vacuum bags for months now and haven’t encountered any issues! I love your cumulus blouse! I bought the tee shirt version, do you think I should buy the pattern for the blouse or just keep knitting the sleeves until they are full length? I guess what I’m asking is if you think the sleeve decreases are worth purchasing the pattern?

I haven’t read the tee pattern, so I don’t know all the differences! If you feel comfortable decreasing at your own rate or want to knit straight sleeves, definitely give it a go. I just love two-strand mohair garments-they are such a good weight.

In another of the videos I watch, she stretched her turtle neck down to where she wanted it, then hand sewed on the back side to keep it in place. Maybe you could do that with yours? It made it so it wasn't so high up on her neck.
