I wish you every success Julia and I want to suggest that you reconsider using animal-based fibres in future collections. I am vegan because I worked on a merino wool farm in Australia and the incredibly awful conditions that the sheep were subjected to was what made me realize it's never humane to use animals' bodies as products or for profits. So many creators preach about "vintage style, not vintage values" and mean they reject the misogyny and racism of the past but they forget about the incredible cruelty to animals that is no longer necessary in today's world. We no longer need to wear fibres, fur, or leather from other living creatures to survive, we have better materials to keep us warm, and especially for a pure luxury like a handmade vintage-style sweater there is no reason to support harming and killing animals (because make no mistake, when a wool sheep is no longer productive enough for the farmer it becomes a meat sheep, even if it's just for dog food. No industrially farmed animal gets a peaceful retirement.) I definitely support you using natural materials for your brand if that's important for you and hope you will consider animal-free options like cotton or flax for future collections! You have a platform and a brand, even if they are small. Your voice and choices do have the power to make a difference. 💚

@@FioreVanil The way sheep are raised in Australia and New Zealand is a million light years away from the animal husbandry of sheep in Europe! Wool is wonderful along with cotton , linen, silk, alpaca, possum, leather.
