How long do the fondant figurines take to dry completely? Do u dry them before putting them on cake? I've seen u make them and put them at the same time on cakes. When I do that they lose their shapes, specially the weight of the head squashes the body.

I don’t think he put his immediately...Always leave you fondant out to dry over night if possible or give it about 4-5hrs .

the best think you will do is to prepare first you topper... Yes you can stayed overnight or more...making fondant topper must put CMC powder for fast harden....

It"s another way to cover a cake with a fondant with a perfect edge.

Yeah agree, also if you drape the whole fondant sheet directly on the cake, there are quite high chances that the fondant sheet will tear.
