I think it might have something to do with the generator he picks up at the beginning either that or the binoculars he throws at the beginning are like homing missiles and hits the key in the furnace so it jumps out

so i managed to recreate this glitch and got a 1:16.38 speed run of the current alpha (Alpha 1 Update - Version 1.0.0.1)

@@f7or1n oh you just hold the A key and press space in the starting cutscene and the go towards the gas station until you get past the electrical pole that is the closest to the black (burned) house, and its quite important the timing of when you press the space bar to skip the cutscene, you have to do it right as the caracter in the car starts moving. Which in the end makes the crow come and stalk you because you got out of the "main house" range for the crow's AI.

You can skip the generator, if you use a box you can reach the attic from the roof and climb up into it

You actually dont need the cable to enter the top locked door. grab 1 box and place it on the roof over the main entrance. Frod there you jump (while holding shift for speed) and climb ut into the room.

They changed the door code so its random, you have to setup a camera to watch the code he inputs when he enters the cell, best way to lure him in is to throw a stopwatch in it.
