@danielpowell9791 hey, i know this is super late and probably irrelevant to you by now. for anyone wondering you have to wait 3 real-life hours and saving/stopping the game only pauses progress. I suggest keeping a controller moving or something to help you AFK this better

Great guide! quick tip for the mannequin level, if you were struggling like me, just sit in the first set of lockers for about 5-10 minutes and eventually they will disappear even after the bell rung

Figured I'd come here and comment while waiting for the dang tree to grow lol thanks so much for the video bro, good work, everything has worked flawlessly so far, except the trolley doesn't get stopped anymore by the player character. I do have a work around I'll post in a separate comment so it's easier for ppl to access

Make sure to make multiple saves since the game can be buggy and I've had mannequins and keys disappear on me. Also the moon door stayed closed for me so be sure to throw a cardboard box in the doorway to keep the door open.

Absolutely amazing guide! Thank you got my platinum by following this :) You made it really easy to follow and entertaining it felt like i was playing with you. Few pointers, Make sure its DAY when opening the day door and not morning and better to but something between the door so they don't close, Cakes has to be on the plates and the mannequins on the blue carpet, You don't actually need to get the basketball go through the hoop you can just throw it from below it and hit it, When doing the out of bounds achievements avoid jumping or it will send you back to the house and the monster in basement you can look at it and watch it go by but you need to crouch and stop do not move at all. Hope these helps someone a bit

Great video. That supermarket though. I got all green lights and it failed me to start again. Accidentally threw the umbrella while on the windmill radiators😂. While waiting for the tree to grow, I somehow got the old man across the street and now he is in my house jumping at the wall.

Awesome guide Aussie, really helped. Critically your commentary could use more directions so we can hear "take a right at the top of the stairs" ect when playing along so we don't need to watch so closely. Also got stuck with the basement act 3 monster as I needed to do the shopping cart mini game again due to wrong save file so worth a mention in case others get the same. Hope that's helps. actually broke the game at the first valve part in act 2 because I couldn't figure out how to turn the valve and while I was trying the old man threw something at me that glitched me into flying into the air and over the fence, saved me some time at least

For anyone having trouble with the hot crowbar not cooling down at all... use the Magnetic device, take the crowbar home and put it in you're freezer (swap it out with the globe and put the globe back in). It only took a few seconds for me to cool off after that, lol.

I hate this game. The movement seems glitchy and I don't like the randomness in which he finds you. I tried following your guide but I accidentally dropped the magnet into the rear window and I have no idea how to get it back. I don't have the patience to start over, so that's it for this game. You can get caught to change the time of day. Also, not sure if it still works but you could try blocking the door with a box or something during the day and then it can’t shut at night...

The controls are so bad! I kept accidently throwing items i needed to use, like the magnet at the start and everytime i did, i needed to restart the game as i couldnt get it back

Overall this guide is helpful but there's lots that doesn't work on the current patch on PlayStation. 20:41 This is virtually impossible to do on current patch. There are six boxes in the yard, stack two next to the trampoline, grab the other four then use the stack trick to have a stack of six and you can just jump in from the side. The guide doesn't actually explain the box trick, so for those struggling: On PlayStation you need to hit R2 then X to jump immediately afterwards to stack, otherwise the boxes go everywhere. Edits as playing: 25:22 guide doesn't tell you that you need to BLOCK this door at night when you open it otherwise it will close when you go back in the day to open the day door. Use a few boxes to block the door open 37:58 those switches are timed so you'll have to go back and redo the plant room switches then haul ass back to that room 53:11 this is a ridiculously difficult way of doing this. Instead go down the track on the opposite side, jump into the roof then to the gutter underneath where the toy truck is at the end. Wait for the train to pull into the station, cont to five when the lights show it has stopped and then walk out and onto the train roof. The train will loop back to the roof area so when it gets closer jump onto the roof to get the wrench .

Wouldn’t get the plat without this guide. Excellent walkthrough. Just a side note to PlayStation players more so PS5 players, when you’re waiting for the tree to grow, after about an hour or so the game kept crashing on me so make regular saves incase that is the case for you too. After that happened Instead of leaving my game idle, I decided to run around for a bit and each time the tree got bigger I did a manual save just incase the game decided to crash

The trolley CANNOT be stopped by player character, WORKAROUND- Go into your phone on clock and set up a timer for like one minute, stay near where you would stop the trolley and start your timer as soon as it hits the EXACT location he stops it in the video. Follow trolley down track to where you can turn it on and off. At exactly 30 seconds, stop the trolley. Go back up the track and the trolley should be stopped in the exact position it was when you started your timer. Stack the boxes, jump to pipe, to trolley and roof, done! It took me three tries to get it perfect and that was me trying to stop prematurely on 32-31 seconds. Stop it exactly 30 seconds into your timer for perfect positioning. I know this will help someone so sorry for the long comment.

It’s almost perfect this video. Apart from the final panic room. 1:39:00 . You can’t just stand there and look down it rarely works I think you just lucky here. What worked first time for me was there is a tv on the right as you come out of the door that the switch opens and closes a gate on. This lights up the corridor so you can see where you’re going. When you come to the bit where the monster is. You turn left then right to a fence. Turn round and CROUCH, very important, CROUCH. the monster walks past and you can carry on. You can still hold onto the tv it doesn’t see you. Sorry for correcting but honestly I tried like 20 times just looking down and it doesn’t work.

I did try my method several times before putting it in the video mate, but the developers have made several updates to the game since I made this video. They change all kinds of small details too so maybe this was one of them, I don't know without going back to the game though. But I'm glad you found a way around it. Thanks for watching!

So I've been stuck on the part at about 1:04:00 for about 30 mins now. Seems like when I exited a locker when the bell chimes, its a complete 50/50 on whether or not the bot will be near me or far away. Is there a way to tell if he's close or not? Like a sound que? EDIT: about another 10 mins I finally made it to end. Still think it's complete RNG.

Thank you for the guide. But after 2 hours of playing this garbage with its janky controls I fell to my death right after playing music to make the plants grow. After reloading my previous save which was mere seconds before, I found that my entire progress of the night time in Act 3 was reset. What a total waste of my time.

Reinstalled the game, played it for a couple more hours and now the red key inexplicably disappeared from my inventory. Googled the issue, turns out the issue has been around for 4 years and they still haven't fixed it. Unbelievable!

Great guide, would add in chapter 3 you say you can throw anything in the gears but you shouldn’t throw in the spanner/wrench. On the third watch you do say that you need it. The box jump to the pipe wasted a day of my life.. Again great guide...

That took me so long as well uhhh. It took me long enough to get the boxes stacked up the. I'd fall over and over and the neighbour would come and knock my box stack down. I had many trips up and down to that area.
