Alux crying brought me back to Rainbow Quest, when Sabre lost everything and he cried so genuinely I was ACTUALLY scared for Elan. Idk, I just miss the acting from Rainbow Quest. While your voice acting has improved loads, the memorable acting from RQ and SS are so deja vu-coded. It's crazy to think that not only did I grow up and improve my stories, but I watched my childhood KZbinrs grow too.

Up until either James reveals Alux's identity as the Prince of Cozen to the rest of the group. Or up until Alux himself reveals his identity as a prince. I can only hope the rest of the group will be as understanding and accepting. Alux really needs that

I like how in such a short time of knowing the Pepper family. Alux seems to have gained a mother and father figure. And little sibling figures. The fact that Katey was so protective of Alux due to his clear mistreatment back at his own kingdom. Shows that she already sees Alux as her own. Outright deciding not to tell James where Alux went off to. Was certainly very brave of her. If it were someone rather ruthless as a royal guard, who had come looking for Alux. Then that would have not gone over well for her

0:47: Okay. Let's take a stepback. He was trapped in his own home. His father never let him have a friend. And honestly. In Episode 1 we saw that even the guards looked down on him and even bullied him. His father wouldn't let him leave the castle. Nor would his father let him learn about magic. And he'd be punished for little things That alone gives me Tangled vibes. We know he saw his mother be offed in an ambush. I'm honestly of the thought that Alux's mother was a magic user captured and wed to her husband by her husband's father. And Alux's father probably didn't want him leaving the castle. Because he didn't want Alux to learn the truth. And if not that. Then at least. Maybe. Alux was kidnapped at birth. His whole life was a lie. And the reason that Hamatre was apparently the one to declare war on Cozen. Was due to Cozen taking their Prince. These are the two main therioes I can think up. Given how Alux's father kept him bound to the castle. And kept him from learning about magic.

I can see why Alux is reluctent in returning to Cozen. His father kept him on a tight leash. Keeping him ignorant of learning about his own Kingdom. And sure. He trained with a guard. Or was tutored on Princely behavior. And such. But he wasn't allowed to make connections with the people that lived in the kingdom. People he would one day rule over. Not just that. He may not have been close with his father. But Alux's father was the only family he had remaining. Not only that. But after his fathers death. He was preasured by the idea of taking up the mantle of King. And ruling over guards and an advisor. That had all looked down on him. He was betrayed by someone he thought to be his bestfriend. Left for dead. He's got friends now. I can see why he would be reluctent in going back. He doesn't exactly hold a reason to feel responsible for a kingdom his father kept him castle bound from. He doesn't really have a reason making him feel like it's his duty to rule a kingdom that has guards and an advisor that treated him as an outcast. (Another reason why I'm thinking Alux may be 'adopted'. Why treat Alux like an outcast? I mean. Is it just because the King was lax in his care for Alux? And so guards started thinking they wouldn't get in trouble? As Alux would always be punished for little things? Or is there a deeper reason?)

Great episode I love it. I was waiting for this one to come out. Question, when alux was talking about how trapped and scared he was in his castle, why didn't his powers react to his emotions?
