I'm loving your September intentions. I've had a hard summer health wise and I'm finally turning a corner. My intentions this Autumn are very similar to yours; slowing down, resting, taking in nature, eating good food, reading and drinking lots of tea and completing a jigsaw. I started Gilmore girls today. Last year it was the good witch. For me it's all about healing body and mind. X

Hi Ellen! I’m also moving soon so I’m looking forward to seeing how you decorate your new home.🎉 It’ll definitely be an inspiration for my new place too. In autumn, I like cross stitching while watching a movie at a cozy space.🍂 I also like walking and seeing the coloured leaves.❤ So excited!

😍😍😍 what a treat it is to watch how much your channel has grown in the past few months, you’ve been such a huge inspiration to me and it makes me happy (and proud of you 🥰) to see that many more people now have the chance to be inspired by you just as much as I am! 🤗🤗 cheers to you and hope you’re having a blast on your birthday month 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 Oh and my fall goals are: - go to farmer’s markets as much as possible - go on a weekend getaway to a cozy cabin once the leaves are orange/red - watch Harry Potter (again) with hot chocolate or a butternut squash soup - here in the US we have the turkey trot on thanksgiving which is basically a 5k run so I want to do it this year - bake an apple pie for the first time - find fall festivals around town and make a point to go to at least two - minimally decorate my house but make it very cozy for fall 🥰 - continue building on all my August goals to turn them into lifetime habits (working out 4x/week, 3l of h2o, reading at least 10pages of my book every day, spending $200 or less on Amazon per week, call my parents 3x/week) ❤

I just got back from vacation last night. I woke up, unpacked/decorated my tiny apartment with all my fall decorations today! Making a list of my fall intentions and goals while watching this video. Such a perfect cozy video to match my cozy day before my return to the office tomorrow. Favorite things in autumn to do: Going to the local library and picking out a classic i haven’t read. (Not sure but I always feel like fall is the time for classic novels) Walking to a cute meadow and playing with my dog Having a dirty chai and playing my vinyls as I drink it!

I don’t know if this possible in your new house, but when my husband and I moved into our first home together 10 years ago, our living room had a gas fire. He disconnected it all, we got the chimney swept, and we’ve had a real fire ever since. Might be worth looking to see if you can do the same? You can’t beat a real fire 🔥. We’re also in Surrey btw 😊. And I’m also a new sub - love your channel 🥰

I am absolutely DESPERATE to swap it for a real fire - I agree, nothing like the real thing!! We’ll probably leave it this winter while we tackle some other bits and pieces in the house.
