I will never use Rit dye again! It kept coming off (dried for weeks) on my cloth when I cleaned it prior to varnishing and When I went to varnish it came off (I think it was the Rit dye) all on my sock. The white areas of pearls looked yellowish too. It also came through on the back of my canvas
