I have lost most of my real friends, as I suffer with chronic pain, and so am no longer able to work, I have also developed severe depression and anxiety (actually in hospital for my mental health at the moment), but I too find that online friendships have been such a support to me ..

Same here Pam. You are not alone dear. I have depression, anxiety, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. I don't know where I would be without my online friends and wonderful colorists like claire.

I am new to your channel and I just adore you. Your heart is so true to who you are. I’m sure the majority of your fans appreciate your dedicated time that you take to share in the details of your hard work. You have helped me a beginner in how to color like a colorist. You explain more than most who have a coloring channel where they just work and we the audience have no idea what colors are being used. It’s a real blessing to see an artist at work. Coloring books are really expensive because of the few and many talented artist who have beautiful coloring books that are being sold through Etsy.com coming from South Korea. But once you get hooked you want to do your best in bringing a coloring page alive. So with that said, thank you, you are awesome. Your work is great. I now know how to do a red head because of the details that you take time to show and tell , plus you have a nice speaking voice.

Claire, oh my goodness, your hair is gorgeous! I immediately went to Etsy to get her, she was $3.99 USD, I can’t wait to color her. I didn’t realize how sick you were, at least I was already praying for you, all the people in my life, whether it be RL or YT, I pray for them. I’m so happy you are feeling a little better, at least enough to do a lovely, over an hour video like this, I love these kind of videos from you, you are so talented, and definitely one of those people who have taught me so much. Thank you Claire! 🤗💕

Once again, an amazing tutorial. Claire, you give your viewers an insight into your personal life which makes you totally realistic and believable, and therefore very, very watchable. A lot of us have depression and children with mental health issues. I hope Max has a great support system, which you and he will need for many years to come. Good luck with the new home renos as well.

I'm just here for the combos. :D Haha. Totally kidding. Beautiful work, Claire. These colors are gorgeous together! I've used the mulberry with the pinks, but I never thought to put the pomegranate in there! Definitely writing that one down for later use. Also... I know this has been a while back but I hope you're feeling better. Here in Kentucky in the US, the flu is STILL going around in May. We had a touch a short while ago but we all had flu shots so it wasn't too terrible for us. Also glad you're getting settled in! We moved about a year ago and it's the first time we've had all the boxes unpacked within the first year... haha. Considering the number of art supplies my daughter and I have between us, that's an accomplishment!

This is the first time I've followed along with a Color Along. It's really fantastic Claire. I'm colouring another drawing but working on the hair following your technique. I am off work at the moment due to fatigue and anxiety attacks. Colouring has been very helpful and listening to your Color Along and tutorials makes it so much more interesting. Thank you so much Claire :)

I hope you are better soon. I have had a chest infection in the past and it really wears you out continuously coughing , so I know how poorly it makes you feel. I love the hair, it suits her very well and I am looking forward to seeing the next colour along. After watching your tutorials I have now got a set of 72 Prismacolors and I love them. I have Parkinson’s and with the pencils being so soft I find them so much easier to use.

I first started colouring a few years ago when I was hospitalised for mental health issues. I was obsessed with using gel pens for colouring but was disappointed in lack of colours choices and the difficulty of getting good results on larger areas with gel pens. Then I discovered your tutorials and was so impressed and inspired by your work that I purchased a set of prismacolours which came today. I'm just waiting on my new colouring books to arrive which is madness as I have plenty of them but my head won't let me use pencil in my books with gel pens lol

Oh Claire I know exactly what you mean about anxiety and depression and getting panic attacks and trying to get the motivation to do things as we are trying to get our house ready to put up for sale. I can’t help my partner as my copd and angina means I get very breathless, my partner is too stubborn to ask for help so is trying to do it all himself which is sending my anxiety levels skyrocketing. Great video btw 💖

I am so very happy that you moved to an area that is a better environment for you and your family. I totally get the whole, ' my kids are grown up' thing. My daughter is 22 (shock), and my son is 19 (awe). Where did the time go? My son was just an itty bitty two minutes ago. :) I love the color choices for her hair. You did such an excellent job. I understand anxiety too. I'm medicated for it and depression and am actually going through ETC right now. It is working fabulously. I haven't felt this good in decades. Looking forward to seeing how you do her skin. Take care and I hope you get to feeling better soon. Poor thing.

Love this Claire. She is beautiful and her burgundy pink hair gives her so much character. I love how you keep it "simple" but it is incredibly effective. Stunning. Looking forward to watching the skin. Hope you will return to full health again soon. So glad you are happy in your new home. Enjoy making it your own. Take it one room at a time. I also become overwhelmed when there is too much to do and worry about the expense. I have to remind myself that it is a work in progress. Start with one room and take it to completion to achieve a feeling accomplishment and satisfaction. And then move to the next. Sending you much love and friendly hugs xxxx

This is the first video I have watched from you. A few things. I love your accent. I’m a special education teacher in the states and kids on the spectrum are my absolute favorite. Kudos to you for bringing a mom who is taking care of you kids by moving. Please don’t let you sad ideas get to you. This video was amazing. You explained your steps while also being personal! I love it. What paper did you print on for these pictures? And I love the color choice for hair. And 45 minutes for a video that is well done is not a big deal at all. Well done and thanks for being a great teacher. I have all your other videos to watch now!

I agree with you . The coloring community is a great bunch of people. I was told I was anti-social because I don't go out much with others. I live with my family in the country and I don't own a car. I rather b.e home anyway. I can't stand being around a lot of people. Coloring helps me a lot. Met lots of people through coloring Love the hair tutorial.

Hey Claire, that's a beautiful hair color combo! My question is, how would you do burgundy hair color. I've tried different combos using anything from maroon, red-violet, and brown and other shades in between those. The problem I run into is it either comes out too dark in the highlights or too muddy to be anything other than dark shades of brown. Any suggestions?

Oh Claire, thank you so much for being so open.. I can relate to you on so many levels.. I have mental health issues, lots of physical illnesses and no family, so I am quite housebound. When I put your videos on, ii colour whatvIm working on, and it makes me feel much less alone. I’m so glad you managed to move. I have experienced scary neighbour issues. oI was lucky enough to be able to buy my 1st flat last summer, and although I feel privileged to escape uk renting housing market, it was really stressful, and I’m just winding down from the stress now.. It’s probably why you got ill. Hopefully now you’re settling into your new home, your immunity will improve. God luck with comping, I did it for a couple of years and I won some good stuff, including the iPad Im on.. I used to do the ones listed on Money Saving Expert Forum, but I did used to have to do a couple of hours a day to get a win a month. Thanks again for your amazing channel,x
