Brand has gone downhill. Not a fan of their new styles but that’s just me. Still love my Antigona small and I ordered a pair of the elegant studded boots (not sure if they’ll ever come, SSENSE sucks right now)

I just purchased the mini in black sugar goat skin and I’m in love! I love the design and silhouette of this bag. I love how versatile it is you can grab it with the top handles, wear it crossbody or over the shoulder. The quality is impeccable. I think it is a timeless and classic design. It feels comfortable to wear it’s structured, yet a bit squishy. It has a bit of edginess that I like with the pointed metal pieces on the strap. It’s a mini, but very spacious!

I got the Antigone preloved as a Mother’s Day present to myself in metallic silver…bc all the reviews I saw had similar complaints about the strap coming off so I ordered silver “O” rings from Amazon and used that to attach the strap & eliminate that issue…it makes the strap a little longer, but I don’t mind that & it works great with no issues…getting this bag was the best decision I made, completely obsessed with it & I only paid $800 for it 👜😍

I think Givenchy is underrated as a brand in general. I have the Pandora and I really still really love it. It used to be my perfect work bag, when I went to the office every day. Like the Antigone, not an “it” bag anyone but I don’t care.

I recently bought the mini antigona in croc embossed leather. I love it- it’s beautiful but I am at a bit of a loss on how to style it. Would you say the the mini antigona bag in the material you have is more everyday and the croc embossed is more for special occasions?

Love the style and silhouette of the Antigona. I've had my eye on the mini and small sizes. The only thing holding me back is the stiff zipper and opening, and worrying that items will get scratched taking them in/out.

I have a small and that hasn’t happened to me. I recommend buying second hand and that the serial number ends in number 8 or less. Antigonas before 2018 are better than ones after, ones after have a coating on them and shows scratches even with goatskin sugar leather. Mine is 2018 and my cousins was 2019, she sold hers after comparing to mine. Mine was a much better made bag. 2016 and older are the best

Hi. Great video. Just bought a new Antigona camera bag and the strap can still fall off easily. I’ve complained to Givenchy and they’ve offered to close the loop. I’m bummed to change the design and intention, but the bag is so expensive and I’d hate to be walking and the bag fall off. They say it will take 6-8 weeks.

This is goatskin so I don’t spray anything at all. It’s super durable and tough and I haven’t had any issues getting caught in light rain with it. 😉

Honestly I complained about this in my original review video a while back. The chunky zipper kept scraping my hands whenever I tried to get my things out. But now, it loosened up so it’s a lot easier!

Not necessary unless you’re trying to keep the inside extra clean. Structure wise, you don’t need one.

I have this same bag in same leather but in black and I've replaced the spikey studs with the same size but round head ones. Those spike studs unscrew and I got matching size ones on Amazon to replace them. It's not a permanent modification and can be reverted back in case you decide to ever sell the bag. My spike ones would dent my bag if I wasn't careful when placing it on the car seat next to me or anywhere else really. I always had to fiddle with the strap to make sure the spikes aren't up against the leather. Got tired of that

The only thing that's stopping me from purchasing the antigona is that the handles don't drop down. That is such a deal breaker. The handles would be in the way when you wearing it crossbody. I own a LV speedy 25 damier ebene and love it. It'll be forever in my collection.

I have one in black and I don’t find that the handles get in the way however, the opening of the bag is snug when you first get it so the zipper can sometimes scratch you when you try to get in/out of it. Still one of my favorite pieces.

It was too bulky when worn crossbody. I actually scratched it pretty bad within the first month of having it because I kept bumping it into things. Also, it was heavier than I expected when I carried it top handle on my wrist. And I thought the small zipper opening wouldn’t be an issue but it really annoyed me. And I was paranoid about the handles getting dirty (it was pearl gray). Just didn’t work for me. Such a shame because it’s so beautiful and I’m still in need of a gray bag.
