Hey subfuries! I hope you enjoyed this in-depth exploration of how the Daedric Prince Malacath and the Orcs themselves came to be. If there are any other events or eras in Tamrielic history you'd like me to explore, let me know below. Also - should I move my Elder Scrolls content to a channel purely dedicated to ES? Stay nerdy! ~ Tim

@HelloFutureMe I have a theory about the "Titanwing" forms of dragons. As I have seen that many dragons are adapted to their environments, maybe the Titan stages of dragons aren't just color and power changes, but the dragon's future selves. We see that the Boneknapper lives near volcanoes, explaining the volcanic lava colours it has, but also the Armorwing being the color green, the same as the forests it may later inhabit. So, maybe the dragons are actually becoming both more powerful and more effective as dragons, since many are actually prey to other dragons. So, maybe this is to help them both hunt and avoid being hunted.

Hello again, Tim I have never watched your Skyrim videos till now. Just watched all five in one sitting. They were entertaining and interesting, even though I know almost nothing about the game and its universe. However, after watching the videos, I think they should stay on the main channel because they are among your formal theories and histories, just like your How To Train Your Dragon and Avatar videos. I see that you’ve been placing your videos into playlists by topic: HTTYD, Skyrim, Avatar, etc. Now, there may be an argument for placing exact (or nearly exact) histories in one channel, and speculative theories in another channel, but that is entirely up to you. Anyways, I enjoyed this a lot and look forward to your next video, whatever the topic.

Hello Future Me can you do a Harry Potter theory.I not sure what about but you will think of something
@ysgramornorris24526 жыл бұрын
I read a theory about the nature of the Aedra: being essentially infinite and mostly without limitations, they didn't know what they were, so they remained undefined, and they also didn't know what they weren't, meaning that when someone (usually a group of mortals) told them that they were this or that, they couldn't say otherwise, and they just had to contend with this definition. So, my personal theory is this: Trinimac was _considered_ by the Altmer to be this honorable Aedra of war and family, so he *was*. But then, when Boethiah shamed him, the Altmer's view of him changed, and so his very nature was rewritten, and he became the Daedric Prince that we know today. Maybe it was this transformation that somehow severed him from the original act of Nirn's creation (the Altmer wanted so much to have nothing to do with him that they literally _retconned_ him out of the pantheon of their ancestors), thus turning him into a Daedra.

The way that you presented this story revealsa ton of truth, I think. I think that it was the Truth that Mephala revealed to Trinimac that made him falter in his protection of the Aldmeri, and then he was consumed by Boethiah, the personification of Betrayal! Trinimac became Malacath by understanding the Truth that the Aldmeri reject, and by being rejected for his mere acceptance of the Truth. So, what was the Truth that was revealed to Trinimac that engendered his fall, and showed the betrayal he faced from his own kine? I think the answer lies in the words of Veloth in his condemnation of Aldmeri as greedy and power hungry. I believe that this is fundamentally shown in one main aspect still seen in the High Elf race, or Altmer (the closest race to the ancient Aldmeri), PRIDE, and it is namely their pride and rejection of the fact that mortals, or humans, could become GODS! My theory is that the pride of the elvish race and their blind rejection of the possibility of mortals achieving Divinity somehow blinds them tothe Truths which will enable the path to achieving their own Divinity.

In the revealation of the truth Boethiah and Mephala marked Trinimac with Shame and Humiliation, as the forced acceptance that you aren't the "superior race" would do for anyone.

@@thesurvivorssanctuary6561 I'm confused, do the Altmer not have a few of their Aldmeri Ancestors indeed ascending to become God's? Phynaster and Syrabane being prime examples? I mean, greedy and power hungry? Ironic that Veloth said such things considering it was him and his people that abandoned their kin and chose to follow the promise of the likes of Daedric Prince's like Boethia, who offered them the "Triangle Truth", as a form of promising such new heights of power. Plus I mean... dude, the Dunmer have only 1 member of their race who MAY have achieved Chim, and even then, none others have attained a level of true Godhood like the Aldmer I've mentioned above. The Aldmer wanted to return to their home and with their ancestors... the Aldmer aren't bad guys for that. They too fight for wanting to return to Aetherius. They can't all be God's in the way the Divines are, no, but they can become Et'Ada once again. Maybe not CHIM but, I mean, CHIM isn't something that's for everyone, and that's fine

Hello Future Me! I think you should keep all nerdy things on this main channel. I love Elder Scrolls and I really enjoy your videos about the lore. I think doing videos on the different races is a good idea.

I find it funny the Aldmer had they’re own Talos in Trinimac and he became a Daedra. Man’s Trinimac became a god...oh the irony.

Love the format and content. It's great to have it concisely narrated instead of needing to find the books in game or read through all the wiki's. I've shared with a few friends who are die-hard Skyrim fans, so hopefully that gets you a few more subs!

It is useful, when reading about the battle between Boethiah and Trinimac, to think of religious reform in that context. And Mephala's involvement in that context also makes sense, Since assassination of prominent Trinimac followers could have help the Velothi get the upper hand on that conflict
@Becca-bm8rt6 жыл бұрын
So this is my all-time favourite out-there theory about what the metaphor of Boethiah eating Trinimac is referring to: Trinimac began to doubt his actions in killing Lorkhan, eventually becoming so wracked with guilt that he spoke out against the Aldmeri rulers. Boethiah either is that guilt or acted through it. Hence he was 'consumed' by Boetiah, i.e. consumed by guilt.

I'm rather fond of the theory that Trinimac is simply the elvish cultural equivalent of Tsun/Stuhn, and thus was a shield-thane of Lorkhan. At Convention, he betrayed and murdered Lorkhan. In time, his guilt for this act of treachery, this unlawful overthrow of authority, "ate" Trinimac from within, and thus Boethiah was born, and Malacath was what remained behind.

i think it is quite obvious, if u listen to urself & those facts :q if u eat salad, it turns into something different, then u poop it out. it is basically still salad, but without all the nutritioning ingredients. now take a look onto the spheres of trinnimac & malacath... he's still the same, but not beneficial anymore... :q
