I love seeing what people buy when they're on holiday in general, but a holiday to Japan brings a very special kind of haul for me. Thank you so much for this fun upload. I can't believe the algorithm didn't bring this up 3 years ago when I was still doing my 'Japan shopping haul' searches!! It's a real injustice to content creators when such clearly titled videos don't come up in the relevant searches...grumble grumble. Anyway, top job with this really fun (and helpful!) video. Here are the top 8 things I believe every woman needs to buy and return home with when travelling to Japan: 1. Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner AND Love Liner-- two of the best liquid eyeliners on planet Earth. 2. Fancl Gel Cleanser. The best everyday face wash and light make up remover out there and it gets no love on KZbin. Boo! 3. Perfumes from J-Scent (found in Tokyu Hands), Di Ser (found in Omotesando) and Parfum Satori (found in Roppongi). Absolutely NO DUPES for any Japanese-made fragrances. The blends and the actual raw ingredients used in all of the aforementioned houses is really unique and all are easy to wear. Ooh, I'll also sneak in Shoyeido incense-- the sweet sandalwood one in the dark red packaging is my favourite. Japanese incense is unlike any other. Shoyeido have an elegant boutique in Ginza. Great idea for a souvenir too as they're not expensive. 4. Ready-made Dashi stock sachets. Sure you can get the instant dashi powder on Amazon groceries but the Japanese domestic-only ones are superior. 5. Bath Roman Onsen bath salts in 'Milky' (which smells like sweetened warm milk, surprise surprise) and 'Hinoki' which will make your winter time baths smell like a mountainside ryokan bath. 6. Pola Aroma Ess body products-- they smell like a cup of hot tea with a slice of lemon floating in it). 7. Fake food/fake food phone case from Kappabashi Dori/Asakusa. There are many classic old stores which specialise in food models so it's worth visiting a few to see which one looks the most realistic for maximum joy. 8. Clothing from La Foret. They sell the highest quality rather than trashy fun from Harajuku. It's prices reflect the quality but it's the destination for people looking for enduring, well-made but REALLY quirky and unusual garments, accessories, bags and jewellery...like a new winter coat that screams 'I definitely bought this in Tokyo'. Nobody really recommends these things so I thought I'd give them some 'whoop whoop'. 🎉🥳 Ha! My other 'must-buy items' are far too niche and strange for a comment section like this. I hope everybody has great fun when they go to Japan, it's a fantastic country.

I am going in two months and I just noted every single suggestion. Thank you soooooo very much.
@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 Жыл бұрын
@@DijitalCanavar I'm going again in a few weeks too!! You're going to have so much fun-- don't forget the best place to buy skincare and beauty stuff is the big Matsumoto Kiyoshi in Ikebukuro, near the station. There's a big one in Shibuya too, again not far from the station but the Ikebukuro one is better. Across the road from Harajuku is the new Cosme flagship store-- it's the only one that has the full range of products. If you go to Ainz & Tulpe, they have a store in Asakusa Rox (like a shopping mall) and in this same complex is the grocery store Seiyu (or is it Seibu? I can never remember). You can buy the dashi stock sachets there, they're in a dark blue pouch. Tabi Eats had a FANTASTIC 2 part series on 'what to buy and bring back home from Japanese supermarkets'. I did the same thing you did: wrote every single suggestion down and bought them. SO GOOD!! Have a safe and amazing trip!!🙏😃🛫🗾 💖 PS= Best chicken based ramen is Ginza Kagari Honten, it's hidden down an alley off the main road in Ginza, sort of near the station. My top recommendation for ramen.
