!!! I don't know if anyone said it yet but I wanted to share this fun fact about chameleons! they don't actually change color based on their environment to blend in or anything, they usually change color based on their mood :D if they're uncomfortable or upset they'll turn darker duller colors, if they're trying to fight another male or impress a female they'll get all flashy with it :3 it's really cool how they use their colors to communicate to eachother! (I think they also change color depending on the temperature of their environment, but that could just be "cold = sad :( warm = happy :D" lol) but enough of the chameleon fun facts, HE'S SO CUTE!!!! I LOVE HIS STUBBY LEGS!!!! AND HIS FACE IS SO!!!!!!! EEEEEEE

Hey professional animator here. It’s not a matter of what “sells” it’s purely budget related. 2D animated films are far more expensive to produce. An extra button on a character can cost and extra million dollars. Whereas 3D can be produced far more cheaply. The truth is Disney doesn’t care about quality anymore. They’re just cheap.

Okay I actually LIVE for the fanmail 😭😭 It’s SO freaking cute, and I love how encouraging you are to young artists :) We’re around the same age (I’m older for sure; recently became ancient actually) and it can be so hard for adults to look at the efforts of young people and see it as like,, idk, valid?? But it is, it SO is, and they are so inspiring and so freaking BRAVE and confident and unafraid. the body shape I actually think turned out super lps! The issue is just that there wasn't much you could do to save that head; not because of the shape or the material it was made of but because of its size and placement. Lps reptiles mostly have long slightly thicker necks and thinner heads than a lot of other lps molds and the original base more than didn't have a neck- it intercepted Leonard's back placement. So I think with that in mind you actually did a decently solid job replicating style with what you were given....

Also I think a horror movie you should watch and if I remember correctly it's not body horror is a movie called us. At first you think it's going to be a zombie movie but it turns into something else. Hello Mother Studios, with the return of LPS my urge to customise these gremlins has come back full force. So I thought I would ask what clay you use to sculpt on them, and whether it is air drying or if you have to bake them (if you bake them how do you do it safely?). Thank you and I love Lenard

I think she mentioned she uses polymer (baking) clay in one of her videos cause it's a little stronger and better at holding it's shape. She also said she doesn't recommend it for beginners because you can melt your LPS.

My favorite childhood movie (and it’s still my favorite) is “Miracles From Heaven” It’s one I watched and still watch on repeat, it’s about a girl named Annabelle who gets really sick and there’s no cure for her condition (I’m not going to tell you anymore, cause, *spoilers* ) but it’s a great movie 10/10 and it’s based off of a true story. Overall it’s a really wholesome movie and I really recommend it for anyone 😊 *GO WATCH IT* 🔫

Spirit was one of the animated movies that little me watched on repeat, alongside The Lion King. An animation studio in Ireland called Cartoon Saloon creates the most beautiful 2D hand drawn films. Can highly recommend The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, Wolfwalkers, The Breadwinner, & My Father's Dragon. Some of these had me bawlin my eyes out 🥲

She was a showman, a crab with bravado. A calamity in any decor store of which she graced the threshold. Leonard was the opposite. Laid back, relaxed, and in no hurry. He was cautious, meticulous when he needed to be, but otherwise wasn’t bothered by things that didn’t require his immediate attention. This is why his friends were concerned when he decided to enlist in the army unexpectedly. He was a lizard of little aspiration, and although he was brilliantly smart he would rather plan trips to the deep jungle or surfing trips to the beach. (where there were plenty of smoothies) Leonard was the last anyone expected to join the army. But then there was Crabitha. A force of nature, an enigma to Leonard. Someone he very much wanted to be with. But since their lives were so different and he, so different from her. He decided to go on a self improvement trip, to hopefully catch her attention. He was so unfortunately brilliant it garnered the attention of the CIA. Who reached out to him before he could even think of what to do with himself. So he got shipped off to the Philippines, leaving his comfortable treehouse in Key West, Florida to become a spy??? || i cant really find the group chat that's obbsessed with crabitha liked i hoped so shes a little bland which she doesn't deserve but i mostly wanted to explore leonard anyway.

I'm traumatised by the movie Spirit. When my little brother was a toddler and I a preteen, he used to watch the movie on repeat. Literally, he would watch it from start to finish, rewind and repeat. During that time, I was home sick a lot, so I was forced to watch as well. I could quote the whole thing by head. I'm Dutch, so we watched the Dutch version, but we had some family in Germany. When we went to visit the my younger cousins were watching Spirit the German version and I was able to mouth along the Dutch lines as it was playing. Unfortunately this means that I have never watched Spirit as an adult.
