Roland Grapow and Uli Kush was an important members too, it's a shame, and for a real fan of Helloween Andi Deris is the singer to keep the band in those many years, it's not necesary to mention that Michael Weikath it's Helloween and it's been so underrated, for me easy in the top five of guitar players on metal history.

He's a heldentenor or low dramatic tenor, not a baritone. He's got dark, near baritone timbre, and has weight yet doesn't have the rasp of a baritone nor the weight of a baritone. He based some of his style off of Geoff Tate, and that's why people confuse him as a baritone, but he's a tenor who sings baritone and tenor. Deris is a high lyric baritone, and the amount of rasp and darkness in his voice is a clear indicator of a baritone. Range actually doesn't determine the voice as much as the way the note is delivered with characterization and where you can hit that note from. If you're a man hitting a rather "bright" G4-A4 like it's nothing in your mix range then ya you're obviously a tenor. If you have the tone of guys like Steven Tyler or his Japanese vocal twin Minoru Niihara from Loudness then you're clearly a standard tenor. If you're singing like a soprano, and it's your actual heavily sustained notes, then you're either a male soprano or high tenor which is rare as usually, it's a countertenor using falsetto. Going back to Kiske, he designed his voice to easily sing Tate's style, sing Elvis, and other baritonal parts; however, he trained his voice to sing Iron Maiden and more tenor stuff too. The result was a low tenor, to his luck. This is why his voice is far brighter in head voice and less restrained than a baritone's, same in mix voice. However, his lows are more baritonal than tenor, especially with age. However, you have to understand when you're his age your range gets lower. This is why most singers struggle to hit the highs they could when they were younger.

You are wrong. There's no need to argue about such things, because real Helloween fans love both and we just enjoy seeing and hearing them together. Metalheads accept everything as long as it fits and this fits perfectly. Maybe I am wrong and it is only my personal opinion, but I guess I am right and most of all Helloween fans just enjoy it. О вкусах конечно не спорят, но я был поражен вокалом 18 летнего мальчишки, по сути Джастин Бибер, но диапазон шире чем у Дикинсона. А Денис конечно неплох, но обычный серый голосок, годный разве что заткнуть пустующее место в группе за неимением лучшего. Если даже Харрис не видел лучшей замены Дикинсона, но не пошел на это потому что Киске немец.
