Until now, I easily consider "Silent Rain" the most disturbing lyrics Helloween has ever written. It would fit The Dark Ride album very well.

This is a weird song for Helloween because they (especially Weikath, the leader of the band) usually refer to themselves as a "happy metal" band. In fact, Weikath even fired Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch after releasing The Dark Ride, because according to him, they were responsible for its dark sound.
