[ENG SUB] Do you know all the hardships that Wang Yibo 王一博 has been through?

I didn’t expect this video to be this long when I decided to do it 😭 but after watching “My Legacy and I”, this video had to be made.
Also because the first video I did on Yibo had the music removed and I’ve been wanting to do an updated version.
Wang Yibo really went through quite a few hardships and it’s no wonder he’s so mature for his age (even though he has his naughty side). It really makes me respect him more, and who knew that was possible.

A few corrections: 1. at 2:15, i said that yibo joined ddu in 2018, which is inaccurate. he joined ddu in 2016. during that year, uniq's activities had already started to lessen and uniq eventually halted all group activities in 2018 2. at 10:58, it should be translated more accurately as "i just want to be the better version of myself" 3. typos! 😭 sorry, this means i shouldn't be subbing at 3am 😔 if there is anything else i missed, let me know! 🙏

when yibo had a sprain while he had to keep dancing because he liked it, I was really amazed. I really like basketball, but I got injured during practice so I couldn't take part in the competition, at that time I was devastated and until now I have never touched a basketball again even though I can run. The fact that he didn't give up made me think "can I play again?" Even though it's just a hobby, I really want to do it thanks to yibo for motivating me💚

Nothing came easy to him. Nothing ever did. He always fought harder and better and just seeking to improve. To see him go through all this, which is just a fraction, a glimpse of his reality, is heartbreaking but also having the chance to see how he gets up, finds another ways and keeps going is relieving and so him. Wang Yibo is not to be taken lightly but the best part of it all, of him, has to be that the reason he does all of this is for himself and the want he has to always improve who he is. Sometimes we have to grow past I'll past we have to accept our future and we have to work hard to be the best that's what I see he does yibo in the time I've been watching him has stepped over many boundaries I don't know about his personal life I wish you all he does in any part of his life I see nothing wrong with him I don't care if you don't laugh and joking tell people all kind of stupidness . Seriously he's what you call a trifecta he has many boundaries he can skate he can ride the crazy motorcycle he's good at that and I hope he goes back to it but a little setback stop him his dancing is wow I'm American we have many entertainments over here we have many traffic this over here and that's why I put him right in the middle of them because he's so great kid I think that we should think about his privacy when he's not on stage he should be able to do what he wanted to and not three scrutinize by people if you're his fan love him give him room he's still growing he's only 23 years old stop criticizing I love to see that see your green when he's on the stage that was a great scene a sea of green you go boy keep going thank you entertaining me much love peace in my prayers is with you for you to just step over the line and just keep on going climb climb climb keep entertaining I'll be watching

I admire Yibo so much and I'm so proud of him 💚❤️. He's such a beautiful and humble person. He may think he doesn't have anything to pass on to others but he really is a great example for all ages 😊. And I really hate when ppl justify the recent difficulties he's gone through as the price of fame. No that's just wrong.

i agree with you. yibo is just human like everyone else and should not have to go through that with his fans. it's not normal behavior for fans to exhibit and i hope they will give him the space that he needs 😔 but sadly, i feel like people who would do that in the first place will never understand what "space" means

He never sells hardship or misery, I understand the docu had been edited to remove most of those parts. However even with the cuts, it was so difficult for me to watch it without tearing up and being emotional throughout. All he asks is for fans (and passersby) to be reasonable and have boundaries. You do not own him just because you claim to stan him and buy the things he endorses. He did not sign over his freedom when he performs for the public or provides paid entertainment. You did not pay for HIM, you paid for the entertainment he provides. You cannot claim to love him from afar yet want to crowd him. HE IS A HUMAN BEING JUST LIKE YOU. Don’t ever forget that. He is like no other and that is why I am proud to be a fan. Wang Yibo deserves more than he can ever ask for, and he doesn’t even ask for that much.
