Also to agree with Jamie, you don't have to have seen any of the hellraiser films to watch this one.. though I do recommend reading the original novella by Clive Barker and watching the first film. Even after you watch this one.

What made it more terrifying to me was that it's not a post life thing, it happens when you are alive, you will feel it all and there's nothing you can do about it. The cenobites redesign is also great and makes sense, the worldbuilding was awesome, I really hope they make more (would suggest not going into pinhead origins too much, just more of her on the present).

It was my first ever Hellraiser and I became obsess with the Cenobites and the mythology around, I'd be so curious to learn about the other configurations and how the Cenobites are actually thinking about them haha. The Priest and The Gasps are perfect.

likely was what they were aiming for, making pinhead more cold and clinical with a purpose than the 'kill anyone nearby' that previous pinhead did, Jamie's version looks like more psych horror, being some inescapable force making the target have to actively pick who gets killed
