I just watched the movie, and it's scary how close her natural voice is to her Pinhead character. She seems lovely, but she really pulled off this character. I hope there are sequels.

as a horror fan since childhood let me say this, Jamie Clayton is the revelation of the decade. arguably the best/scariest female vilain ever portrayed and i'm not joking for one bit. PLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE do more roles like this one, you'd be freakin' worshiped for decades among horror geeks.

Not only was it most likely a lot more terrifying that way, but I also had no knowledge of anything that has to do with this world. However, I am excited to see the original films now, and I also have a new favorite actress! ❤️‍🔥

@@rjs2035 Yep, the origionals were pretty awesome too. I got to see the 1st one when I was 9 years old. It really left an impression of Clive Barker's ability to create a fantasy world with impossible depth and horror. I also really like Nightbreed and have been reading the book Cabal to see it's source!

SPOILER ALERT: She did amazing. I loved it. It was closet the book. Original pinhead was a female. I'm wanting to see more of her, in the sequel. I feel there's going to be one, due the way the first one ended.

She just looks like the kind of person that would hang out with anybody and talk to you and just you know say hello you know and whatnot she just seems like a very down-to-earth you know person you know that's why I like about her I mean I've never seen her in anything but once I saw the trailer a pinhead I mean hellraiser excuse me I was like holy s*** and the thing about it is I've never seen any of the hellraiser movies so this is making me want to watch all of them even though that Doug Bradley wasn't in the last two I'm still going to have to watch all which is like nine movies Jesus Christ that's a long night but yeah I mean she just seems like a really great person and it seems like she really took this care to the next level so I'm glad she got it congratulations I think she's going to be amazing in it cuz from what I've seen she looks amazing and terrifying but like I said before in other posts on when you're hit at 125 mph and die twice in a car crash which happened to me two and a half years ago and the only thing you see is a human head stuck in your windshield nothing scares you so nothing scares me but it's still going to be fun to watch and yes that is actually true that whole accident yeah I am permanently disabled from it so and it was all because of a guy wants to commit suicide and obviously unfortunately he got his wish and the only thing left was his head

I saw Hellraiser last night and it was pretty good. The cenobite designs were cool and creepy. You can't really beat the original but this 2022 version is definitely worth watching and having in your horror collection. Predator "Prey" was good. One huge disappointment in horror cinema was "Jeepers Creepers: Reborn".

I watched the trailer and it looks great but I disagree that it removes the "burden" placed on the audience. As with most modern media we are following the same tired formula of taking popular character, change gender or race, pretend this is a monumental leap in representation. If you wanted to remove the burden there would be no Pinhead but a Hellraiser without Pinhead wouldn't sell so...make him a her, lazy win. HOWEVER...this Pinhead is far more accurate to the character portrayed in the Hellbound Heart so while we are not getting the perfection of Doug Bradley the idea that we may get a closer to the novella is equally as exciting.
