The issue now, and for last 10 years, is whole tourism numbers are still very good, gambling has dropped. Mooney, not sure if your still on the west coast but if you head to Fontana, California where the HA originated, you will find Al Capone’s hideout house there as well. Lot of rich history there. Born and raised there. Other history like the grand wizard’s house, literally around the corner from Al Capones. It will make for a great story. Life has evolved since then. HA has the berdoo chapter not too far off the 15 FWY across the street from the dignity health hospital in San Bernardino.

Once when I lived in Manhattan New York, I went with my brother to see Robert Gordon at the Lone Star Cafe. It was very crowded and I backed into somebody. When I turned around to say excuse me, I was staring straight at a Hell's Angels back patch and he was probably around 6'4"-5" my breath hitched for a second but he didn't even acknowledge me. Tragedy narrowly averted 😅

I had gone to a custom bike shop during Reno’s Street Vibrations Rally. There were a bunch of Hell’s Angels there. I wanted to take some pictures of the bikes. I went up to one of the Hell’s Angels and told him what my intentions were. I mentioned that I would be sure not to have any of the members faces or colors in my pictures. The Hell’s Angel said I could take the pictures. I made sure that I respected them. I have been riding since ‘68 and have never had any issues with any of the clubs.

I was driving once from Phoenix to a military base in California and I was in the middle of nowhere and I saw a motorcycle behind me in the distance, I thought it was probably a police officer because they were going like 150 miles an hour and I thought they were coming after me for speeding.. the closer he got I realized it wasn't a police officer but it was a biker when he pulled up next to me I looked over at him and he glanced at me and rode away and I noticed he had on a Hells Angel patch and I remember thanking my lucky stars and he didn't try to do anything to me because it was just us and nothing for 100 miles dude was literally flying he was probably a cool guy though LOL

I was living in a very small town in Arizona called Mayer and I was at the gas station when a group of vagos comes in. It was strange seeing them because the area was considered hells angels territory from what I assumed because you usually saw hells angels around. I thought something might be going on because they had a demeanor to them like they were on a mission. I just so happened to be getting gas to go pick someone up from work and run errands in Prescott Valley about 15 minutes away down the highway. As I'm leaving the vagos happen to be leaving and I end up behind their pack heading down the highway and now I'm almost sure something is up because they are heading towards Prescott, a known hells angels area. I get to Prescott valley and turn off the highway and that's the last I see them. I'm in Prescott valley awhile and as I'm driving back I tell my friend about the pack of vagos in the area. By the time we get back I turn on the TV to see that very pack of vagos I was behind shot up the hells angels clubhouse in skull valley, a little town a little ways from Prescott. That was probably over ten years ago now.

The Hell's Angels weren't like this back in the day. Then after new generation after generation comes things change. In the old days the Hell's Angels name didn't mean they are angels of Satan...it is a military name of a group of heroes in war. Hell's Angels served the communities in the old days. They helped old people cross the roads...they helped communities with bike runs to raise money for children and feed families...they would stop and help a kid with his broken bike. They were protectors of children as well. But now I do not know if it's even the same biker club.
