We ate at Mon Ami many times because we loved the steak, one time we got a grisly steak too out of 3. I think you just occasionally run into a tough cow.

I don't know. We did have a long conversation with the manager, he talked a lot about Jack Binion and the restaurant history but not much about the chef.

Better off in one of the other steakhouses at Harvey’s/harrahs as you found out. Too noisy there and no ambiance/view. We had the beef Wellington and it was excellent…but just too noisy in there
