Both of them used horde as their minions, Garrosh lesser obviously, he didn't accept anyone who would not allow to be consumed by sha, they are weak and don't deserve to be part of horde, and most important race for him were orcs, no other came even close to that importance. One is abusive, the other was manipulative but both served themselves in the end

Look at Nazgrim for instance. Garrosh knew that Nazgrim didnt like him or his ways, but he knew that Nazgrim would NEVER forsake the Horde and as such kept him in high regard and as a General. Garrosh knew that being consumed by some other power is something the Orcs were not fond of, given their history, so he didnt mind. He was full on racist on every race tho, thats correct.

I genuinely enjoy this. Garrosh was a very interesting, and conflicted, character. And, I felt that he stood true to his character, though it met an unfortunate, but expected end. It's hard not to feel the epic, daring nature of his character when you listen to the song. Very well done!

He was the only real character Blizzard produced... Thrall is mild and very human like for an Orcish warchief... almost NPC like... Garrosh was a warrior, a leader and true to his nature. Warriors do not bow to anyone weaker than them. The sham with the non orcish warchiefs leading the Horde was a failed exeperiment.

That's a misunderstanding of his character I feel like, even though Garrosh himself kinda notes this comparison in War Crimes (just to fuck with Anduin, most likely). Garrosh's problem was that he had a narrow vision of what Horde should be and fought for it with extremely cruel ways. I wouldn't call his original intentions to be good - his heart was in the right place, wanting for the Horde to be great, to make orcs proud to be part of the Horde. But, when you really think about it, you realize how darn narrow that vision of the Horde was. Regardless, he fought for it, and everything he did, he did for the true Horde, and that's all that matters. He literally never ever gave up the Horde. His original intention is still there, it has just been warped by his anger, evergrowing xenophobia, hatred and constant wars he rained upon his foes.

1-Garrosh (did what Orgrim did but better) 2-Orgrim (he made the Horde into a war machine,not just a mob of angry orcs) 3-Thrall (the only reason why i mention that traitor pathetic dog is because he helped the orcs find a new home but the horde during his period was a mess) 4-Rend Blackhand survived and kept fighting the second war until his last breath 5-Blackhand (well there is a Horde thanks to him) No,non-orcs cant and shouldnt be Warchiefs. Vol'jin's Horde was a weak disgrace and Sylvanas lost most battle and used the Horde as a sacrificial pig.

I used to give Garrosh a lot of hate, but the older I get the more I realize he really was just like Grommash when he was younger. Only Grommash was 10 times worse than Garrosh because Draenor was 10 times worse in general than Azeroth, so because of that, the general chaos of the world Grom lived in Promoted his Savagery, not just allowed it. Azeroth is such a different world than Draenor though, and so much happened from the time of Grom’s reign, that Garrosh trying to bring such Savagery Back to the Horde stuck out like a 10,000 foot long meteor smacking the Earth itself. . Garrosh’s Horde really, actually was very similar to the True Iron Horde, it just wasn’t the right planet or time anymore for such a thing to exist.
