Love this content! As a veigar main myself i'd love to keep being underrated :D Too op into melee, short range and/or low mobility comps and the tank build is pretty decent into full AD comps. Furthermore a smart use of the cage can even decide games. I do sometimes play with Hexflash to catch even more people off guard. Other good picks that work for me: Swain, Galio, Corki and Ekko

The main reason people don't play Camille as much is because people aren't willing to put in the work to learn to play her well. I adore her but she has a lot of unique builds and plays depending on the circumstances to actually be amazing with her

Might wanna try a more aggro build. A lot of top builds are to defensive for climbs below high master ( low elo is more solo carry. High elo top secondary carry/ ADC peel). If you trust yourself a trinity into eclipse into streaks is the way to go. Always go defensive boots. My rule of thumb is you have two slots for defense on bruiser items. Usally boots (cause the defense boots passives are broken and passives scale better than stats: Any damage over 100 is basically 10 armor and in late game some instances of damage can go beyond 400 so it’s like 40 armor + 35 armor already. That’s like 35- 75 armor + move speed and health for 1350 gold on armor boots ) and maybe one bruiser defense item ( best two honestly are deaths dance or spirit visage) round of the build with sky or anti heal( camile doesn’t need armor shred ) and you’ll be good

It’s also a factor of the time investment imo is not worth it. You could play 500 games on her and be good with her, but if you played 100 games on fiora, Gwen, Darius, aatrox, mord you would have a significantly bigger pool of champions, and also have a lot more strong options. Even playing Camille really well she often feels underwhelming for the amount of work you have to put in as far as time but also just the in match work, you either have to hard carry or you’re useless and it’s rarely a in between. Especially in higher elo your most consistent climbing build is full tank with sunderer into the right comps. Jg on the other hand, I think that’s her strongest use case. It’s safe enough that you can build full damage when you have to, fleet got buffed so her clear isn’t terrible. She has smite so even being behind she is still useful for securing objectives especially in combination with her hookshot and ultimate. She also has strong level 3 ganks and her level 5 ganks are some of the best in the game (aside from Mord…).

Hells you were right, Fleet Footwork on Veigar is busted, I NEVER LOSE LANE with Fleet Footwork Im using Inspirarion Tree w Sweet Tooth and Ixtali Seedjar, you farm gold like crazy and you never lose lane since you heal full HP

Agreed, she's a super solid peeler with strong steroids and CC, playing against her is super annoying, just look at 10:55 . I just wish they could change back her shield to be manually targetable but that would probably make her broken.

I gotta say, syndra is by far the strongest midlane mage atm, she just has the most broken engagerange and her stun is almost immediate, whereas on veigar for example the enemy has to be legit asleep to die of a pick or get stunned by the cage. A great pick to counter mages is fleet pyke mid with e start, people dont expect it and he is incredibly tanky early, he even outtrades champs like akali by straight up autoing

I'm learning how to play kayn now. Playing kayn feels like playing 3 champs at once even the skins. I often play the red kayn bcs I'm into fighter/tank not assassin. If I play againts 5 ranged champs my blue kayn might build tank

Fun fact, Singed is great counter to Camille. Singed wins lvl 1 and can still win even if you mess up because you suck and make a mistake. Only way Singed loses is if Camille ults Singed know he used fling. You can take any keystone on Singed, that's how confident I am in this match up.

The thing with camil is that she sucks before first item, unless enemy got really high damage that is able to burst you or ranged top you should rush first item, sheen is a decent spike when you get it, try to trade when passive is up and poke with second skill, don't go for long trades if possible because you want to use empowered 1 and go back and in, you kinda need to know how to manage wave, i often try to get lv2 first and do some small trades so i can play the lane phase Btw don't build tanks item unless really necessary, it is enough with Steraks, death shance and maw of malmorthius

Hey Hellsdevil, saw your video about graves but i feel like he dies fast. In regular league people buy boots after 1 or two items; should i do this in wild rift? Like if i am graves jungle he is squishy when full crit and i buy gluttonous greaves, so instead im thinking about plated stealcaps. Any thoughts? maybe buy gluttonous sell them later?

If it’s jg graves boots after first item. If it’s baron lane graves you’ll want boots first item into a losing match up and boots second item into a winning match up. I’d say boots are purchased a lot earlier in your build path 90% of the time compared to normal league since they are pretty op. There’s some situations where boots can be delayed if you have a high mobility champion and you’re ahead, it’s better to build more PvP focused items to widen your lead and abuse your lead. For graves though he’s mid range and has to stay on top of people to get his damage off while also playing around cd’s so boots are always going to be a strong early buy if you’re playing aggressively. Edit: answering your boot priority question. It’s situational what boots you buy, if it’s a strong ad team comp (aatrox, strong adc, kayne) you’ll want steelcaps. If it’s strong ap (Gwen, veigar, fiddle) you’ll want to go mercs. I’d say gluttonous grieves should only be purchased if you’re confident in fights being more drawn out and also if you don’t expect to get picked off early in a fight. The omnivamp is a sustain tool for graves so if they have burst mages or assassins you’ll want to tank up using boots and hourglass to dodge burst ults like veigar, zed, garen, darius, etc. honestly I would probably avoid gluttonous grieves until you get really good at weaving in and out of fights and poking so you can take advantage of the sustain.

@@sparks6177sounds good. i did some testing in game with dummies on the gluttonous greaves and found out the more armor the enemy has, the less lifesteal you get. for graves team fights you are mainly gonna fight the frontline and are likely to get grievous wounds so lifesteal from boots is pretty useless. it just gives early powerspike due to cheap damage and mobility early on and falls off in mid to late game. also graves is lategame champion as he does no damage without crit items so these boots arent the best choice. lifesteal is inly good from bloodthirster because jungle monster has no armor and you can regen a lot of hp fast and also the lifesteal is good in teamfights but the lifesteal from the boots is undermined when compared to the better defensive boot choices.

@ if the enemy has decent armor you’ll want to avoid building lethality since it only gives flat armor pen (it negates 10 armor instead of breaking 20% of their armor) honestly the armor stat shouldn’t make too much difference if you like gluttonous grieves, you just change the build to be a bruiser build that focuses on killing other bruisers or tanks like Sion, Darius, garen, etc.
